Rhacophorus pardalis | ©Gastrophrynoides
Rhacophorus pardalis (Rhacophoridae), commonly known as Harlequin Tree Frog, Gliding Tree Frog or Panther Tree Frog, is a small to medium size frog, with males reaching 39-55 mm and females 55-71 mm.
Its snout is rounded. As seen on photo fingers III, IV, V are fully webbed and bear expanded discs. The outer edge of the hand and forearm have a wide flap of skin. Toes are fully webbed. The heel has a rounded flap of skin. Males have nuptial pads [1].
This species is known from several localities in Peninsular Malaysia (and Pulau Tiga Island) and is widespread in Sumatra, Borneo, and Philippines. It probably occurs more widely than current records suggest, especially in areas between known sites [2].
