My friend had the same thing happen to her account, she no longer had access to her old e-mail. What she did was contact support a few times. It took 5 emails and a few days, but they finally sent her a PW reset link. My friend's username is closetalkers if you need more details.

Hi, thanks! I contacted support two times and both times I got the same automated reply with a help page link, basically saying that if you don't have access to your email, we can't help you because you can't identify yourself. Sooo after that I gave up and use virtual-tonks
