7th is a small collective and order of Confessors who have congregated together for the betterment of the people in QuelâThalas. Essentially, it is a small order of Priests and Priestesses alike who have devoted their duty and time to the people offering them a variety of services from: boons, well wishes, sermons, confessionals and even small gatherings to fill the community with positivism. For many years the Sinâdorei people have taken to practicing much of the same worship and faith of those in the Argent Crusade and have begun picking up on some of their skillsets to utilize.
Too often society has had a skewed vision of what a Confessor is, what they can do and the taboo lines that come with their job. It is no surprise that some live in fear of these types of people because of their capabilities to tamper with the mind.
7th has a vision. A focus to bring all like-minded confessors together to teach and be taught the correct ways to harness oneâs ability with Discipline, Shadow, the mind and to offer spiritual guidance through the proper channels of the Holy light. A directive to educate the proper forms of offering a Confessorâs services and to rebuild an honorable reputation within the community and perhaps to even bolster the enforcement of laws within the city.
Our confessors can offer the following services but are certainly not limited to them:
Spiritual therapy and healing
Can and will teach the trainees and those wishing to learn the ways of a confessor.
Support the community in positive endeavors.
Will support the Magistry, Farstriders and Blood Knights.
Practice invasive magics without consent.
Practice said magics without a guardian or champion at their side.
Harass, belittle or berate the citizens. The objective is the opposite of this behavior.
Share any information publicly about citizens, patrons or worshipers. Everything is confidential.
Abuse their skillset at any given point.
Torture another person while being an active part of the order, even if it is to be bid of them.
Practice their sessions within the city as they will be expected to conduct them in a private setting.
Mesmerism and tampering with the mind is a very dangerous art form, each Confessor is asked to have a Guardian/Champion on hand that will oversee the patient(s) and process to ensure the safety of these people. It is more of a safety net for the patients than the Confessors themselves as we expect each and every Guardian/Champion to be knowledgeable in how a Confessor works and conducts their business; to be ever vigilant and prepared should insanity take hold. We expect all Guardians/Champions to go through training prior to have a better understanding of the magic at play and how to cease it should it become out of control. If there is no training prior to joining then those entering will be taught accordingly.
7th is to be an order of worship but also an order that can and will offer their services for the betterment of the people. Should the Magistry or law enforcers call upon them for a task they can and will answer the call or plea for help. They can and will deny the help should anything they are expected to do goes against their core values and moral code. The Confessors can and will help in taking action against criminals and will offer their services to the people in court and trial should it be required. Every Confessor has a right to protect themselves in any event where they might be attacked. If a Confessor is to result to violence and depend on their skillset to save their lives this will not be frowned upon, however, investigations will take place to ensure the authenticity of any claims to self defense.
