While Jax had her own sufferings, I think we should look into gangle's reaction more. They felt awful they couldn't mourn, but who was to expect such a thing? Jax hurt her, over and over, to mask her own miseries. Yes, they probably would've wanted her to be happy, but they would've wanted that to be far away from them. They didn't want her miserable. They didn't want her to feel even a slight of the misery she made them feel, but they also couldn't make the energy to mourn. It shouldn't be expected, forgiveness, and it wasn't. Its nice to see how they weren't pushed to do so, how they weren't gotten on about since Jax was trans like how some posts do. I hope in the outside of that game, its different. It probably is, but I still say.

While people complain about gooseworx way of work, I think its beautiful how complicated it was made. It was a shitshow, but it was real life in a way. Not just bunnies and clowns and chess pieces, but the non-linear way of healing, the scribbles that are grief among other emotions and struggles.

Jax could've bloomed into something beautiful, but she left herself in that dark room. Trapped and hidden behind locked doors. Lots of trans people live like that for a long time, or even for their entire life. Dying in that dark room was safer than confronting the idea of wanting to be a girl. Dying in that dark room was easier. She wouldn't have to confront it. She'd be miserable, yeah, but that was easy. She'd been miserable for a long time. She could stay that way. Unloveable, alone, bitter, and mean. The funny one. Anything but what lay in that room, rotting. She hurt a lot of people, people who would've loved her for the beauty she could have shown.

I like how Pomni tried to save her. She knew she could, she WANTED to . Jax pushed her away and fought her at every turn. I like that. It wasn't easy acceptance. It was like pulling teeth. It was ugly, rotten, farthest thing from palatable for the comforted. It wasn't a cruel ending, god no. It was kind in its own paining way. Like seeing old bones, fragile and tired, finally be put to rest.

I hope gooseworx gets to enjoy the art she's made. Even if there will never be more for the Fandom to enjoy, maybe that's for the best. She made a beautiful piece, as underappreciated as it is.
