Films on the Green 2014
Films on the Green will be coming to various parks in New York City from May 30th to September 4th this year, it's a festival of French films which has been going on in the city since 2008 and provides New Yorkers with the chance to see some classic and contemporary French films in the beautiful surroundings of a New York park on a summer evening. Each year there is a different theme to the festival, this year's theme is Rebels, Heroes and Lovers and will look at some of the most memorable male characters in classic French films from love stories to comedies. Some of the films in this years calendar are: Purple Noon on May 30th, Les Tontons Flinglueurs on June 6th, Buffet Froid on June 13th, The Women on the 6th Floor on June 20th, La Haine on June 27th, The Moustache on July 11th and Grand Illusion on July 18th.
