it bothers me when someone brings up misogyny in shounen anime and people shrug it off with "its designed for teenage boys, what can you expect." like well. idk i think its actually pretty important that shows for teenage boys are normal about women. i mean i think all media should be normal about women but teenagers are impressionable i think we could put a little bit of feminism in the teenage boy shows. it might do some good. you never know.

Ok so I did ponder this while I was making that post and the conclusion I came to it’s yes, ymx is a swiftie. I think we (the player) had to listen to him play her on repeat because it was the only CD traveling moogles would consistently stock and he had an immensely spiritual “I’m 14 and this is deep” moment with her. He probably had a poster on his wall in his room in scala. Eventually he fell out of it (busy getting bald and seeking darkness and all that) but it was there. It did happen. Vanitas probably inherited some of it from him tbh like I know he was making amvs in his head about recompleting with/killing Ventus to her music. Sorry for the serious answer but it all unfolded in my brain and it needed to be let out
