(( I don’t really know why, but it seems I’ve basically lost all of my motivation for my blogs here, so after some thought I’ve decided it would be for the best to drop them. Thank you so so much to everyone who showed interest in Yua - it was really nice to have so much fun with an OC, and to have so many people that liked my OC.... I guess what I’m trying to say is that it helped give me a confidence boost, since I’ve never really had an OC get this much attention form more than one or two people before.

So yeah! Thanks to everyone who threaded with me, and I’m sorry to everyone for dropping as well. Feel free to message me on my OOC tumblr if you ever wish to, since basically everyone here was really cool and fun to talk to, even if we didn’t talk much.

Thanks for the fun times, and I hope all goes well for everyone else! ))

Don’t be alarmed, Hive City, if you walk by Sector 6 and hear the gentle giggling coming from the woods.. Did you see that? No, of course not, there’s no such thing as fairies. You must be losing your mind. If you hear soft voices and sing song tones, it would be best to stay away from District Mu.. at least, for now.

[[Hello hello hello my lovely muns! It’s been three years since I’ve done a mini event so I’m really excited. Last time I did one of these I had so much fun, so here we go again! I’m stoked, I’ve been planning this for months.

On July 25th, I (well, Light) will be hosting a Midsummer’s Night Dream themed summer ball which will take place in Sector 6, District Mu! The ball itself takes place on the 25th, but starters for the ball can be written from the 25th of July to the 1st of August, so the ball itself will have only been one night in Citta canon, but the event will be a week real time. It’ll be a semi formal to formal type deal and I’ll be contacting a couple people through out the month (IC) about things like food, drink, decor, etc.

So! Do me a favor and reblog this post! Just like the last ball I did, I’m going to be making invitations for everyone who does (Citta affiliated blogs only, obviously) which means your submit box needs to be open so your character can get theirs.

Use the tag #ca midsummer as easy access for starters, dash commentary, etc. so that it’s easier for people to follow. That’s the tag I’ll be using for updates or news about the event as well!

“If have to die for someone else, what’s wrong with that?” This woman…. he couldn’t read her at all anymore. She felt like an enigma now, changing from one emotional state to the next. And yet… there seemed to be some kind of pain there, distant, but none the less there. 

His eyes seemed distant them selves for a moment before they beamed at her, a fire burning there like always. “Everyone at one point needs to be saved. From themselves, others, the world. There is not one person in this world, myself included, who does not suffer at some point in their lives.” 

The fire became weaker as his voice grew softer. “Call it a delusion if you want… but I will save everyone.”

“But you see... I’ve already been saved. And I saved myself. Why? Because the only ‘heroes’ who tried to ‘save’ me were just as foolish as you were.” No, that was a lie. They were guided by their own idea of righteousness, not a genuine desire to selflessly help others... Ah, but what was she saying, all heroes were the same, weren’t they?

She gave a small laugh and shook her head before speaking her mind once more. Not only was she refusing to look at Shirou directly, but she also kept her eyes closed as she carried on with her thoughts.

“Of course, everyone suffers. But that doesn’t mean you can save them all. Hell, sometimes you’re lucky if you can even save a single person. What happens when you only have enough blood for one transfusion, but two patients? If you give them only half of the bag, then both will die. But then, who are you to choose which one gets the entire bag?

“Certainly, it’s admirable to try to save as many people as you can... But you need to realize that you can’t save everyone. Sometimes you have to pick and choose, one life over another. Understand?”

(( ….Yua’s being cocky and saying that she can probably handle whatever the fuck is in those cocoons on her own but… i’m not really having it let’s just say that. She’s not so idiotic as to outright refuse help but she’s not gonna go looking for it. That being said, if you want a versatile mage in both battle and healing on your team, just like this for her to luckily run into you.

Starters will most likely be of varied length. And since it would feel weird doing starters for part 1 when part 2 is already in action, the likes I got for that starter call will be for part 2 instead. If you wanted a starter for part 1 just let me know and I can fix that!

“So, shall we place bets on what kind of lifeform is going to come out of these shells? And how many self-proclaimed heroes do you think will charge at it and die without even a second of planning?”

It seemed like she was taking pleasure out of the current circumstances. Certainly, she was a bit anxious for her own safety, but that didn’t mean that she preferred boring days to this kind of madness.

“They always do that, you know. Charge into danger without a clue, hoping that ‘justice’ or some nonsense will protect them... Hey, where do you think the best view will be? We may as well gain some information from their coming demises.”

Usually her humor wasn’t so morbid, at least not openly, but she couldn’t help herself... Well, she could. She just didn’t want to.

“With the recent turn of events, I’ve mostly postponed classes and focused on protecting the magic wing. Given the nature of the area, those that are against non-humans have been fairly aggressive,” he shook his head and sighed.

“You can easily find me lingering in the office anyway,” he added. “Granted that most sectors in the city are a bit dangerous to wander in recently, I decided to stay in the Academy for the meantime.”

“Yeah, it’s certainly much better protected than the average house or apartment...” Defensive spells, ones that could last for long periods of time... Yua had basically no firsthand experience in crafting them. Perhaps that was something she could come to learn... Preparation is one of the greatest assets to have, after all.

“I can’t imagine that their violence is decreasing, however... Maybe it would be better to teach them a lesson directly?”
