i have such a love for characters who descend into madness or villainy out of deep, deep empathy. characters who fundamentally cannot cope with the cruel realities they find themselves in and blow up about it in spectacular fashion. fallen angel type characters with tears of outrage in their eyes. characters who break before they bend, and break so badly they splatter blood all over their noble ideals. every variation on it gets me so good

I am so very serious when I say that minors should have a legal and easily reinforceable right to say "I don't want to live with my parents (or other adult caretakers)/I don't want to be around that person/I don't want to go to that place" and actually get their wish accommodated. So much childhood trauma could be avoided or ended if children actually had the right to leave the situation or the person hurting them.

since my previous update this post has gotten a lot more notes which I am so thankful for because people sharing these types of posts is how they get attention on them but I fear that whenever a post like this gets more than 100 notes people assume the problem is solved which is unfortunately not the case. As of right now (1/19/26) my friend still has no clue what is wrong with her car and it is unfit and potentially unsafe to drive to work, she’s still in the process of finding out what exactly is wrong but it’s proving to be more difficult than we hoped. I’ve since applied to multiple places and had a small handful of interviews but unfortunately nothing has come from them and I am still unemployed and struggling to get by and afford basic necessities like groceries and hygiene products. I’m just kind of at my wits end and I hate to keep having to come here and ask for help and I feel like I’m getting annoying and too much of a charity case but I just don’t know what else I can do I’m doing everything I possibly can right now. if anyone can afford to throw a couple of dollars my way or continue sharing my posts id be so grateful. please never feel obligated to send anything especially if you’re also struggling, the last thing I want to do is take money from someone who’s also having a hard time.

I forgot to put an actual goal on this post, I’m not sure how much everything with the car is going to cost because my friend still needs to get an estimate so the goal I set for now is going towards necessities like groceries, hygiene products and bills
