Lighting Tweak Test
*no reshade used*
experimenting with the sims 3 settings setter. I turned the "light scale" all the way up and tweaked how shadows render. It gives the effect of my sim being completely unaffected by shadows when standing in direct light.
im not the one to care for how realistic my game lighting looks, so i actually prefer the left. to me, shadows just do not look realistic nor ideal in the sims 3. that being said, even with this setting turned all the way up, shadows still do affect your sim to a lesser degree.
here is another sim in non-direct light! the appearance and lighting is bright with soft, minimal shadows. personally, i love how this looks! i'll likely still pair this with reshade, mostly with tonemaps + sharpen.
anyway, sims 3 setting setter is great. if you're on the fence about downloading it, this is your sign!
