Ok am I going insane or are they actually implying johnlock in the new enola holmes movie??? I dont think so but what were these scenes?!?!?!? Am I just projecting my shipper wants or are they queerbaiting us??? … I need screenwriters commentary on what they were thinking… ehm but given the quality of the movie they may have not a formed a single thought during the entire writing process anyway soooo… but also then I need Cavils commentary on that reaction on enola telling him John fought for him?!?!!!?

They’re perfect. Enola Holmes 3 wasn’t a great movie but Watson’s stories about Sherlock were some of my favorite parts of the film

John Watson is trying to hide the fact that he sleeps with Sherlock Holmes; unfortunately, he is terrible at it. I mean, who says that what happened one night stays only between the two people present and his diaries? Right after talking about the first time Sherlock reciprocated his kindness? My dear sir, you are not being subtle in the slightest.

✅ John is Sherlock's +1 at Enola's wedding ✅ John is the first to notice that Sherlock has been kidnapped ✅ "I care for him, too." ✅ John made tea for Sherlock so they could become friends, it failed and so John stopped ("It's making you unhappy, John. Let go."), so then Sherlock made tea for John instead and opens up to him ✅ Eudoria gives the same compliment to John as she gives to her actual son-in-law ✅ Sherlock calls John a "good man" ✅ basically: Johnlock is real and thriving in 2026 🌈

HE MADE TEA. John Watson made tea for Sherlock every day since they started living together and asked him about his cases, and when he stopped, Sherlock came to him with tea. Sherlock Holmes made tea for him and then told him about a case.

No one will ever know how much I freaked out, I really did, hearing that. Sherlock Holmes doing something for another person to connect socially with them without receiving anything in return and without, apparently, any ulterior motives.

Also: John's Diaries!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And then Enola brought Tewkesbury a cup of something ( I don't care if it's tea or sewage water ) she, Enola Holmes, brought a cup of a drink to her love pair.

Fuck I love parallels. Holmes and their love language. The best? John was ready to give up on his tentative friendship and then Sherlock came with a cup of tea. Tewkesbury and Enola have a fight and he was, probably, ready to be abandoned and then she came with a cup of something.

Kill me.
