Imagine planning a little kusu story just for the shits of it and then retail hell starts because it's the Christmas season. Yeah.

Anyway, not that I ever was active anywhere anyway. But alas, I'll at least finish my comic somehow...just, uh, not right now lol. Here's a WIP tho.

The many faces of Shin/Zhen and the not so many of her shingi.

Zhen represents a decision that comes from deep within us. Perhaps a solitary decision, after a long period of reflection and deliberation. Perhaps a decision that suddenly and unexpectedly arose, without our expectation. But it is there, and it is a decision that corresponds to our very being.

Something has happened, and what happened can no longer be reversed. The decision we made in Zhen brought about a fundamental change. So I like to see it with her that whenever she makes a fundamental decision, especially when sudden and unexpected, her form will suffer and force a change as well. It's not really known what kind of change so it can be either she gets younger or older etc. That is just how it is.

The two are stuck with each other, I guess. One might even state that her Shingi has not known loss thusly, but it's debatable if one should put the loss of something you care about vs repeatingly seeing your loved one getting hurt on scales is a worthwhile thing to do.

Do I make this an actual story? Idk. Do I use this as an excuse to at least draw something in between working full-time and also working on my Stardew Valley mods? Sure do.

I like to think that Shin shingi yaps quite a lot and as he can't be heard by anyone besides other kusus and shingis in this state Shin gets often the reputation to be quite eccentric talking to herself and all.

Anyway, wth is pacing and consistent backgrounds? I hardly know her...seriously tho don't ask me to be consistent in my style. I might change it in the middle of things lol

I was just doodling around and slapped some lines and colors on this. Not too keen but whatev lol. Shin with her hair open or something. Had so much empty space on the right so...mononoke.

Yeah, Idk. Found some time to doodle some comic or something. Maybe I shouldn't draw when I was gaming for 10 hours but who cares lol

Shin jsut wants to go out and slay mononoke no matter what but her shingi knows too well that she is never taking the safer route so they often argue over it. Not seriously tho. Her shingi always gives in in the end...

As promised I drew my medicine seller.

Trigram 4 Shin I'd say she is usually about a head smaller than Kon/Ri in opposite to her shingi who's probs about 6'7". Well, what do I say about them?

As Shin/Zhèn(ignore I did the ` wrong in the image I ain't gonna fix that lol) has the family role of first son/big brother I kinda leaned into that with the shingi being kind of doting on Shin. They do talk a lot and Shin is always out and about doing shit while her shingi tries to keep her out of harms way(or at least the harm she was about to cause herself in opposite to dealing with dangerous mononoke).

As the trigram that awakens, incites and disturbs, whips things up and brings them out of hiding it's probs really good for mononoke where name, truth and reason are hard to find out. Most likely this means risking a higher chance of getting hurt in return though.Which is why her shingi tends to not want her to use that even if it means speeding up the process of slaying the mononoke.

Thunder renews. Makes life cyclical, every end brings a new beginning. So as thunder destroys new things can grow from it.

I was gonna talk about how this means that every time Shin would use her sword to fuse with her shingi it basically destroys her form and she will, like, pop up as a kid or something. Or maybe if she keeps abusing her thunder power to speed up the slaying process combined with drawing the sword...yeah, that sounds better. This way she can at least grow back to an adult hopefully.

Anyway, Shin and her shingi(who she tends to just call Aniki or Big Bro)always hang out with each other when back in their realm. That's probs when the doting gets real obvious or something.

But yeah. I know a Kusu and their Shingi tend to look different but I thought it'd be kinda cute if Shin dresses like her 'Big Bro'.

To save my own sanity I did not draw her box. Just imagine one like Kon/Ri has with fitting colored inline.

....what better place to allow my brainrot than tumblr after all these years? The cockroach that survives an atomic war seemingly...how fitting for my rotting brain.

While all other social media is getting tiring I fester away in this hidden treasure. Or something like that. All these social media with their fast passed-ness and stuff...anyway. 

I abandoned my instagram(4 times lol), my twitter(5 times) and uh.....deviantart 5 million times, I don’t know anymore. I jsut suddenly got nostalgic about this place and saw it’s still somehow kinda a bit active? Sorta?

I also have a website but that is for my innermost thoughts. Or something. I am a rather fickle person.

Gonna slighter in and hide in fandoms, maybe finding some gems on the way.
