We didn’t get as many applicants as we were expecting, so applications are still open!  They will continue to be advertised through the end of June, but they will remain open until the network is full.  If there are enough people, we’ll start adding in July!

About the chats...

There are quite a few changes happening for our Summer Application Wave, so we thought it was time for an update!

There are going to be three chats in the network: Safe For Space (Skype), Not Safe For Space (Skype), and Discord.  There is no more Twitter chat, and we’re really sorry about that!  See below for more information about these chats.

Skype - Safe For Space      -This chat is NSFW free!           -Of course, this doesn’t mean that you can’t say ‘tits’ or whatever.           -Just nothing highlight worthy, and definitely no real NSFW.      -The mods for this chat are Dips, Elin, Adri, and Haruka.      -This chat is open to 15-19 year olds           -If you are fifteen and opt for a Skype chat, you will automatically be placed into this chat even if you want to be in the NSFS chat.  You will have the option to join when you turn 16.

Skype - Not Safe For Space      -This chat is NSFW jokes friendly.           -Still no real NSFW allowed!      -The mods for this chat are Dips, Adri, and Haruka.      -This is the chat you’re probably used to seeing in the highlight posts on the Tumblr page.      -This chat is for 16-19 year olds only

Discord      -This chat is also NSFW jokes friendly.           -Of course, no real NSFW!      -The mods for this chat are Dips, Adri, and Haruka.      -Basically, this is the NSFS chat but on Discord.      -HOWEVER, we are open to creating a SFS channel if people want that.      -This chat is open to 15-19 year olds.

New And Noteworthy      -We no longer have a Twitter chat!  Things just weren’t working out.  For a full post about that click here.      -The SFS and NSFS chats are now exclusive.      -In fact, aside from mods and maybe one or two choice exceptions, there will be no overlap with members between any of the chats.      -The Discord chat is new and is subject to change as things move forward.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!

This is in regards to the Twitter chat, so if you’re a Skype-only member, feel free to disregard this message!

The Twitter chat will not continue to be part of this Voltron Network starting the next time we open applications (we don’t know when that will be, but we’ll keep you all updated).

This, of course, wasn’t decided because we don’t like the Twitter chat or something.  The mods just aren’t as present as mods should be, and it feels a bit disconnected.  We’ve also been busy with Other Things(tm) and don’t really have the time for the upkeep.

And obviously this doesn’t mean we’re deleting the chat or you’re, like, ex-communicated or anything.  Our very own TJ (@gaydrienagreste) will continue to act as the mod for the chat.  Whether he decides to make it its own network with applications and rules and such is up to him, and any questions about that should be directed there.

Basically, we just aren’t going to manage the members or activity of the Twitter chat anymore.  The Twitter member page on the Tumblr will also be removed, and there won’t be Twitter chat highlight posts anymore.

We’re super sorry for this turn of events and the way things turned out.  It just wasn’t a good fit for us I guess?  Anyways.  Thanks for reading~!

An Update On Rules

Rules, rules, rules.  I know.  Sucks, right?  Someday I’ll get on and just post a dick joke I promise.

Anyways!  We’ve updated our rules!  I know it sounds like a lot but hey, we’re a bunch of dumb teens trying to run a social network.  What can you expect?  We’re learning.  Here’s the list of current rules, with new additions bolded:

     -Absolutely no Shaladin/Shallura whatsoever.           -This means Shaladin/Shallura content as well, even if you don’t ship it.      -Follow the rules of the SFS and NSFS chats.  If you’re in the SFS chat you should not be sending NSFW content there.      -Nobody under the age of 14 or who turned 19 before 2017 will be accepted.      -No unwarranted hate on a ship or character.      -Don’t be a dick.      -Don’t send a dick (pic... or any porn... or smut... keep the Real NSFW to PMs or the “No Kinkshame Only Kinksame” Skype Chat (hit me up on PMs for more information)      -Stay active!  We get that things come up for a few days, but constant inactivity (weeks at a time) could open up a spot for new applicants and makes us concerned for your well being.      -No explicit content about suicide or self harm; we’re always here to help, but we need to keep it to PMs.      -Three Strikes You’re Out!           -We’ll give you three warnings if you break rules (with the exception of some).  Your third infraction results in a kick from the net.           -We will not warn you before kicking if you ship Shaladin/Shallura or do not reply to our warning message about inactivity.

That about does it folks!  It looks like a lot.  I know it does.  It felt like a lot typing that all up holy hell???  But.  There are just.  Certain Things, you know?

Applications are closed, but you can still apply here if your little heart desires.  If a spot opens up for you, we’ll let you right in!

IMPORTANT UPDATES!

We’ve had to make a major change to the format of this network.  Because of some conflict about NSFW content and age, we’ve split up into two Skype chats: SFS and NSFS (Safe For Space and Not Safe For Space).  The chats are not meant to be exclusive, we just want to make sure everybody is comfortable.  We draw highlight content from more than one chat, so SFS members will also have the opportunity to participate in that if they wanted to.  The Twitter chat is not affected by this.  (More information about this split below the cut).

We got tons of applicants, and we’re so excited that we’ve gotten so much interest and support!  Thanks a ton and see y’all on the flipside!

SAFE FOR SPACE CHAT      -This chat is NOT exile!  We just need to keep the content age appropriate in these chats.      -This chat will be almost all of the same members as the NSFS chat with the addition of anybody below the age of 16.      -When you turn 16 we will happily move you up to the NSFS chat if we feel like there’s not too many people in there already.      -You can still participate in highlights!  I (Jiyoon) draw from PMs, smaller individually formed group chats, and the main chat.  This is across all platforms, too!  You tweet something kinky?  Into the highlight folder.  Nobody is safe.      -The wonderful amazing Elin (@elinmaries) is a SFS chat exclusive!      -Listen, we’re not Super Sticklers or anything.  If you wanna make a middle-school-boy-grade dick joke?  Whatever.  But it has to be reasonable.  Nothing like you see in the highlight section.      -I promise it’s just a grand time (and also the ~originally created network chat~) and you won’t feel like you’re missing out at all

NOT SAFE FOR SPACE CHAT      -Don’t get the wrong impression here; this chat isn’t for just NSFW content.  It’s just allowing NSFW content.  So any topic of conversation is still very much allowed and welcome!!  (Like come on people, we’re not that kinky...)      -Actual Serious Real NSFW content either in text (fics, messages, etc.) or picture/video/audio/etc. are still not allowed.  Feel free to PM them to Dips if you’re unsure, or just PM them to whoever you think wants it in the first place (WITH THEIR CONSENT).  We’re all jokes here people, please.      -This is still not a Shaladin/Shallura friendly space.      -This chat is strictly for 16-19 year olds (though at the moment, we only have up to 18 year olds added).      -Like I said, this chat isn’t really all that different from the SFS chat.  Same members, same network, same content.  Just with a few kinky ass jokes here and there.

I know it sounds like a lot, and I know it comes off as strict, but we’re just trying to make everybody comfortable!  We’re flexible!  Some of these rules are pretty loosey goosey, and I promise we’re 99% fun and games.
