Hey guys! We did some spring cleaning and applications are back open! They’re only open until April 14th though, so get them in as quickly as you can. We love to see new faces around so don’t be afraid to apply!

Things to know before you apply:
-You’re going to need a Skype or a Twitter to participate
-The Twitter chat is dead right now, and we need help reviving it!
-Our age range is 14-19 IF you turned 19 in 2017
-There are frequent NSFW jokes in the chat; see highlights below for examples
-Shaladin (Shiro/Paladin) is not tolerated, no exceptions
-If you’re a Shaladin shipper or supporter we’re going to have to kick you... Sorry!
-No unnecessary or unwarranted hate on a ship or character please!

Other things to keep in mind:
-If you’re inactive for long periods of time, we’ll talk to you first but kick you if you continue to be inactive
-Repeat offenders will be kicked (cuz it’s one! two! three strikes you’re out at the ooooold baaaaall gaaaame!)
-Applications stay open past the deadline, but we won’t be adding more people after the deadline until someone leaves
-The mods are here to help! There are four mods in the chat, and we’re all friendly! We don’t bite! (Unless it’s kinky… Then maybe some of us do… side eyes @distantcroaking)
Speaking of mods…
-Dips (@distantcroaking) is our main mod for Skype chat related incidents. They’re someone you can go to for help or if something makes you uncomfortable or anything else you’ve got. The best with confrontation and working with people. Probably the go-to mod.
-Adri (@keithkoganeoffical) is a mod who “sits back and sips lemonade.” They give great advice and are always there to listen and help in whatever way they can. Fair warning though: they’re not the best at PMing. However they are great with small group chats if you’re interested!
-Elin (@elinmaries) is the sweetest person you’ll ever meet. She’s less confrontational, so if you need help solving a problem with another member, it’s best to talk to someone else. She’s supportive and fun to talk to and a great friend if you ever feel like you need someone to talk to.
-Elle (@stickystars) is a Twitter chat mod. They’re super fun to talk to and can help you with any problems or questions you might have. They’re friendly and funny and outgoing. They’re very good with people and will be sure to help you in any way they can! Elle’s Twitter is @ kumaquats / @ kwancept.
-Jiyoon (@hylianchocobro) is the absolute greatest mod and definitely isn’t the one that wrote this post. Always willing to help with a problem, listen to you complain, or just talk! We’ve had to make a major change to the format of this network. Because of some conflict about NSFW content and age, we’ve split up into two Skype chats: SFS and NSFS (Safe For Space and Not Safe For Space). The chats are not meant to be exclusive, we just want to make sure everybody is comfortable. We draw highlight content from more than one chat, so SFS members will also have the opportunity to participate in that if they wanted to. The Twitter chat is not affected by this. (More information about this split below the cut).
We got tons of applicants, and we’re so excited that we’ve gotten so much interest and support! Thanks a ton and see y’all on the flipside!
SAFE FOR SPACE CHAT
-This chat is NOT exile! We just need to keep the content age appropriate in these chats.
-This chat will be almost all of the same members as the NSFS chat with the addition of anybody below the age of 16.
-When you turn 16 we will happily move you up to the NSFS chat if we feel like there’s not too many people in there already.
-You can still participate in highlights! I (Jiyoon) draw from PMs, smaller individually formed group chats, and the main chat. This is across all platforms, too! You tweet something kinky? Into the highlight folder. Nobody is safe.
-The wonderful amazing Elin (@elinmaries) is a SFS chat exclusive!
-Listen, we’re not Super Sticklers or anything. If you wanna make a middle-school-boy-grade dick joke? Whatever. But it has to be reasonable. Nothing like you see in the highlight section.
-I promise it’s just a grand time (and also the ~originally created network chat~) and you won’t feel like you’re missing out at all
NOT SAFE FOR SPACE CHAT
-Don’t get the wrong impression here; this chat isn’t for just NSFW content. It’s just allowing NSFW content. So any topic of conversation is still very much allowed and welcome!! (Like come on people, we’re not that kinky...)
-Actual Serious Real NSFW content either in text (fics, messages, etc.) or picture/video/audio/etc. are still not allowed. Feel free to PM them to Dips if you’re unsure, or just PM them to whoever you think wants it in the first place (WITH THEIR CONSENT). We’re all jokes here people, please.
-This is still not a Shaladin/Shallura friendly space.
-This chat is strictly for 16-19 year olds (though at the moment, we only have up to 18 year olds added).
-Like I said, this chat isn’t really all that different from the SFS chat. Same members, same network, same content. Just with a few kinky ass jokes here and there.
I know it sounds like a lot, and I know it comes off as strict, but we’re just trying to make everybody comfortable! We’re flexible! Some of these rules are pretty loosey goosey, and I promise we’re 99% fun and games.
