Yeah her daemon is being super hard for me to pin down because I’m looking for an animal that is driven to accomplish goals, resilient, adaptable, and generally has a one track mind.

I’ll also admit I don’t have a full grasp on Krolia’s character, she’s complex and parts of her confuse me, but I’m getting there! You might find it amusing to find one of the forms I had for her was a chipmunk lmao

Romelle’s a fun character! I love her fire! She would have something spirited, with lots of energy, but dependable and intelligent. She doesn’t let herself get pushed around, she will stand up for herself and what she believes in. A ferret, a clever and assertive animal, would be a good fit for her. Much like a ferret she is outspoken, lively and playful.

I don’t know much about Adam, we haven’t gotten to see a lot of him so it’s hard for me to get a feel for his character, but I’d say he’s cautious and plans ahead a lot. He cares for his loved ones and wants them to be safe and values the loyalty from them. These traits match up nicely with the red fox, considering he’s probably also very intelligent and seems perceptive.

Thank you so much for your patience with Krolia, she’s a hard character for me but I think I’m getting there! I don’t have my laptop at the moment, but once I do I’ll do some art for Romelle and Adam! Thank you for the asks <3

hI HI HI IT'S ME AGAIN. I hate to bother but I have to know - what kind of Daemons do you think Coran and Haggar may have had? I know Zarkon has his croco and Alfor has a jackdaw, but... AHhHHH I LovE THIS SO MUCH? I'm so sorry if this has already been asked.

Hello!! omg hi yes Haggar is gonna have a hare or rabbit, at the moment I’m thinking a Riverine Rabbit. Riverine Rabbits are generally solitary, even opposite sexes will avoid each other on most cases. However when there is a lot of food to go around they may form a dominance hierarchy. This seems a lot like Haggar’s preference to be alone, but because of the Empire’s growth and power she has become part of a hierarchy. Rabbits in general are known for being cautious, and Haggar does not like being out of her depth or being taken by surprise, she is most confident when she knows exactly what’s going to happen. She also shows a lot of dedication to her work, and values her privacy, she would prefer her business to remain her business, keeping her life and work in her own ‘burrow’. Rabbits aren’t the adaptable type, if there is any sudden change then they are not going to do well.

Coran is going to have some sort of dog, I’m not to certain of the breed yet. But he defiantly has a lot of loyalty towards those he is committed to, first Alfor, then Allura, then the paladins. He’s a hard worker, running the castle ship and taking care of it’s occupants, both physically and emotionally. He has energy in buckets and is enthusiastic about pretty much anything he puts his time into. He’s probably going to be some kind of working dog, that has a need for a job and is dedicated to that job/jobs. I’m open to suggestions!!

hey I just discover your daemon AU and was wondering if you already choose King Alfor's daemon??? Or any of the bad guys'? (The au and art are so great btw it's awesome and I'm so mad my phone shut me out of the app in the middle of going through the tag)

AAAAAAA I’m so glad you like my AU???? Thank you so much!

I’ve been looking into Alfor’s daemon, but it’s been hard for me to pinpoint his personality. I mainly want to base his daemon off of his younger self, as that will be when his daemon settled. We can tell that back then Alfor was an ‘in the moment’ kind of man, he rushed into battle only to find himself surrounded and without backup. While having the confidence and assertiveness to be a King, he was also complacent to let Zarkon lead Voltron while he himself played a supportive role. He does not see social status as a reason to get in the way of what is logical (Zarkon leading because of his better leadership skills). He is also clever and hard working, as he is a scientist, and constructed Voltron.

After a bit of research, I feel he would be a good fit for a Jackdaw! Jackdaws are playful, cooperative, and innovative! They are status orientated, but also socially aware and are not willing to compromise their bonds with others over status. They are adaptable and opportunistic, very much ‘outside the box’ thinkers, which leads them to having an adventurous spirit.

As for the bad guys, I feel like Zarkon would work very well with a saltwater crocodile. They like to be in control and on top, they defiantly don’t like to be ordered about. Saltwater crocodiles preserve their energy by lurking below the surface of the water and waiting for their prey to come to them, and then use a sudden burst of energy to take them down quickly and aggressively. This seems much like Zarkon’s 10,000 year wait for Voltron to come to him and then attack ferociously when he’s within striking distance. Crocodile people are patient and straightforward, and I find this is a good match for Zarkon. 

Plus doesn’t a big, battle scared crocodile look mean and villain-y?

(I tried to draw Zarkon I swear but all that fancy armour was giving me an aneurysm)

I also have Haggar as a Riverine Rabbit, who like their solitude and are loose bonding. They don’t like being attached to people and they don’t like people poking their noses into their business. They are dedicated to their projects and like to be left alone to work in privacy.

Also Lotor as a Tasmanian Devil! (I almost gave him a platypus we wont talk about it) They are resourceful, opportunistic, planners, tenacious, selectively loyal, guarded and value communication.

OMG FUCK ME UP WITH THE DAEMON AU!!! It's so beautiful and you have amazing art!! I love Pidge's Raven/Raccoon! Hunk's is perfect, all warm and soft bear. Lance's dog is awesome and when it surfs with him! 👌 The tiger for Keith is literallyy?? perfection!?? Princess's is so beautiful and regall! And shiro's is such as sweetie, a big boofy therapy dog kinda! I like the idea of Coran's being a dog, but I kind think of his as one of those Macaroni penguins XD. I know you've already drawn Lance's daemon but what about a snow leopard?

Lance with a snow leopard daemon? Realistically… Probs wouldn’t work since Lance is outgoing, empathetic and eccentric, and snow leopards are extremely introverted and withdrawn.

But if we take Lance cool-confident-and-calculating Mclain,(you know the one) then it could work

aaa thank you! I was actually hoping someone would ask something about Pidge’s daemon. They’re actually still unsettled! I definitely feel like out of everyone in Voltron, she’s still the most unsure about who she is.

Her daemon mainly tends to take the forms of a raccoon, crow or mongoose.
