as much as i'd like to pretend i don't understand what the deal is with those guys who get obsessed with drawing the beatles or the monkees or the lemon twigs sucking and fucking, i'm no better than them. every time i see a picture of joey ramone i start talking about how badly i wish i couldve chopped all his limbs off and kept him in a basement closet before the lymphoma got him (usually frightening my fellow retro punk enthusiasts in the process.) it doesnt matter if i think the ramones weren't even that good in spite of their influence or if i have no interest in any of the other band members because i cant easily pretend theyre women, im still as much of an animal as a mclennon shipper
