Today I am going through major withdrawal from all my favorite interracial tv couples that did not last long on tv, or get the writing they deserved. Keep it going if you think of some.
First up: Samcedes- Sam Evans & Mercedes Jones (Glee)
Second: Ginny Baker & Mike Lawson (Pitch)
Third: Sasil- Sally Ann & Hasil Farrell (Outsiders)
Oh, how could I almost forget the short lived: Benvolio Montague & Rosaline Capulet (Still Star-Crossed)

One thing that will always kill me about Simon and Alisha
Is the measure of self control, of discipline he had to have when he returned to the past. I mean the girl he was in love with had just died in his arms, he was covered in her blood, had to dig and burry her beneath the dirt himself and then he returns to the past but he can’t immediately run to her. He has to let things play out. He watches as her relationship with Curtis breaths. He sees the time before she even looked his way. And when finally he can make contact with her she doesn’t yet know - she doesn’t know what they’d become to one another. She doesn’t yet know or feel the love that seems to consume the both of them. And he finds himself touching her a lot because this is her…alive and warm and for once he knows exactly how touch can become an addicting thing when it has been taken away from you. It is not only her weakness in this moment but also his. And when he ask her what she wants to do now in the terms of their relationship and she says she doesn’t know…but he knows because although this her has yet to know the him of now –he knows this her like his own mind. He understands her cues and the things she’s afraid to admit aloud. She has led him when he was silent and shy and now it is his turn to lead to help get them to the future, to the relationship they both deserve. And this kiss…this kiss is like breathing because this is the awaking to things that are supposed to be. He has succeeded in a part of his mission and it is in fact the most import part. And when it’s time to complete everything there’s so much pause…so much pain. When he hesitates and stops her from leaving in that second he wants to run away…to just avoid it all and be with her and continue their story but if anyone knows the dangers of such things - it would be Simon. The key that she accepts with the joy of being entrusted with free entry to a boyfriends place…a sign of seriousness in the relationship..something she’s never experienced…is bright in its ignorance to what that gift really means. Of why he has really given it to her. It’s given with a shallow smile and a flutter of eyes cause by oppressed emotions. And that kiss is only rivaled by the look he gives before she leaves. It was a goodbye. A slow death. And even when lips separate it doesn’t end for they rest for a moment, head bent and silently breathing.
As a viewer when you first see it you don’t get. You never fully understand it. You think you get it after future Simeon’s death but you don’t actually process it until you see past simon’s whole story. You don’t really feel it until you see Alisha in his arms and then experience the start all over and wonder now from this perspective what he really must have felt. I mean his drive was obvious - he refused sleep even had black under his eyes from it, he didn’t care about himself getting hurt, he had accessed every point of their lives and put in major work to fill in the blanks of what Alisha wouldn’t have been able to tell him, he sacrificed people and kept his mouth shut about things he knew would happen. The toll this possibly took. You understand it only after you’ve seen the journey to that point. This whole thing itself was a monument of his love for her. I think we tend to forget sometimes that he didn’t just die for this love he trained, sacrificed, and battled for it.
They were just so perfect and things got all messed up.
Stop apologizing. You don’t have to say sorry for how you laugh, how you dress, how you make your hair, how you do your makeup, how you speak. You don’t have to be sorry for being yourself. Do it fearlessly. It’s time to accept: this is you, and you gotta spend the rest of your life with you. So start loving your sarcasm, your awkwardness, your weirdness, your peculiar habits, your unique sense of humor, your voice, your talents, your everything. It will make your life so much easier to simply be yourself.
If you know who Emmett Till is please reblog.

“Did you find her?” Merlin asked excitedly through the phone.
“I looked everywhere,” Arthur said. “She’s not here.”
Merlin had a suggestion. “Have you tried looking in front of you?”
WHAT KIND OF CRUEL PERSON WOULD DO THIS???
This would be great
