my thoughts on this are that if one (former) hermit has let us and his community down majorly, the rest of the hermits have done themselves proud in their response. they were accessible for the victims to reach out to with their complaints. they then sought to verify them, and once they had, they directly addressed the situation in a swift and efficient manner. their statement allowed for the victims to offer their perspectives with their own voices, on their own terms, whilst preemptively warning us that they would be coming, and they had been confirmed and acted upon.

this has been dealt with extremely professionally, with care to protect the victims, and with clear decisiveness (especially from a server that is so famously indecisive, it required a coup to start its second season). this was not dragged out. allegations were not dragged through the mud and victims ripped apart by the jury of the internet. the hermits brought us a situation already resolved and within one day, we are already in the aftermath

I’m so glad a majority of this was handled professionally offline. 90% of disputes nowadays are handled publicly because people jump the gun and go straight to social media with their concerns rather than contacting any sort of HR Team or whatever the equivalent is for youtubers. I understand that in some cases, there are power dynamics that cause victims to go ignored, but unravelling drama live can be really exhausting and panic inducing for everyone. Including people who are going to be receiving the messages.

All I am saying is that it’s really refreshing that something is known fact and “credible” on the announcement coming from the main source rather than allegations from an outside source.

That being said I am seeing some people getting upset about not getting answers right off the bat, and to them I say you need to chill. If this were the news and not social media, delayed updates would be expected. Yes, the people deserve to know. Thankfully, vague confirmations from Mumbo and False means that things have been thoroughly investigated. Doc has confirmed that more information will be revealed.

We WILL know what happened. They know that people deserve to know, that is why they are telling us anything at all. They’re getting ahead of the drama by being proactive. They’ve likely seen what situations like this have done to other smps when not handled properly, and they’ve handled it. Properly.

Be patient everyone and obviously don’t spread rumours. We dont wanna feed the sharks.

Following up on my previous post, I know you all think Benedict is so Bisexual and sexy and want to see him having more sex in s4. But I'm mean so I want the opposite.

He's been making fun of all his siblings chaotic relationships so often, that by now I want Benedict to have less game than Lord Debling when he meets Sophie.

I want him to have so much performance problems he starts doubting his equipment, I want sex to be so out of the table Benedict dreams about Sophie knowing that's as close he's going to get to finishing. Make this man abstinent against his will! Make every single member of his family open the door whenever he's getting close and personal with Sophie. Give him no privacy with the love of his life and negative rizz with anyone who isn't her. I want him crying! Because Benedict has never had to work to get a human to drop their undies before and he should learn that all his problems aren't solved with sex. Someone needs to teach him that his D won't win him true love no matter how many good reviews he's received during 3 seasons of the show. And I hope that someone is Sophie Beckett
