Good question, honestly. I'd reckon that it depends on who it is.

If it's a servant, it's easy enough to banish them. Rumours would spread, but those can be brushed off, ignored.

A soldier, especially low-ranking or fresh, can be sent on special, dangerous missions. If that doesn't kill them, it'll certainly send a message.

I do not know if Azula would resort to something as drastic as murder—it's possible, but against her father? A general? A noble?—but there are places where her face is not known. So, really, if worst came to pass, she could always run away.

i used to have a desk job; a pencil pusher, basically. but, as of the beginning of 2025, i've been laid off and have been unable to find a new one since. genuinely, i've been losing my mind. tweaking, if you will. it's been hard trying to find the motivation to write or do anything, really. and i do apologize for that. it's just an uphill battle currently, financially and mentally.

I was reading your Genshin fics and the amount of longing you were able to cram into the characters was amazing. 10/10. Would you happen to have any book recs? Hopeless romantic vibes.. 🙏

Admittedly, it's been a long time since I read anything for the sole pleasure of reading. But here are some books that I did genuinely enjoy and that have romance in them (no particular order)

Y'know what, it's kinda funny to me, I tried watching attack on titan 4 different times in the past like 10 years and i never got more than a few episodes into it because I would get too pissed off at eren and have to stop watching. I just finished the final season today after forcing myself to watch it long enough to get into the story, and while I still don't like eren, the whole reason I wanted to rewatch it and finish is because I wanted to understand what was going on in your aot fics and finally read the pieck one with out being confused😂😂

i'm really happy to hear that! sadly, i have never watched the movies, nor have i ever read a harry potter book in my life (with the exception of prisoner of azkaban, but even that seems like a century ago now).

This might be a hard question to answer but are there any writing tips you could give? Or is there anything that specifically inspires your writing? I absolutely adore the way you piece together words! Like another anon said, I think the thing I'm most in love about is how you use tender touches, gestures, and non-verbal cues to express love and yearning. Even if you don't have any advice to give I just want to say I'm in love with your writing haha.

I just really, really, really wanted to write.

At some point, I wanted to become a doctor. At another, a lawyer. Then, finally, an author. By now, of course, I've realized that there's more to it than just putting words to paper, and that it's hard to make a living off. So, what used to be a dream now has turned into a pleasant hobby for when I finally find the time.

The best and only piece of advice I can give is to write. Find comfort in writing about what you know and have fun exploring what you don't. Just write. It's harder to get back into it when you take frequent breaks. Trust me, I'm speaking from experience.

When it comes to writing style, find authors whose works you enjoy and try to emulate the writing habits that you like. See what sticks; which parts come easy and which don't. At least, that's what I did.

As for inspiration, it comes and goes. More often than not, I randomly find myself gripped by a feeling that I desperately want to put into words. The refrain from Mac DeMarco's 'Heart To Heart' inspired my own heart-to-heart. Chris Isaak's lyrics "What a wicked thing to do/ To make me dream of you" played on repeat in my mind while I wrote once upon an april day. I stumbled upon Ursula K. Le Guin's "I am used to being lonely, but forever to be a stranger is a strange grief," and wrote more than half of A Day Will Come When You Won't Be in just under a week. Nowadays, I have the outro of The Strangler's 'Golden Brown' and Микаэл таривердиев's 'Никого не будет в доме' stuck in my head. I look forward to seeing what I can write from that.

Lastly, of course, kind comments like yours make writing infinitely more fun and rewarding. I may not always reply quickly, but I promise that I am genuinely touched by each and every one. Thank you and take care :)

"Once upon an April day" is spectacular and I'm BEGGING for a full fic!! PLEASE!

I think it'd need to be a multi-chapter work to cover everything. And I doubt it'd be overly interesting, since once upon an april day already exists and outlines the most important bits. BUT I could provide some more short ideas for that world :)

Hey, I just wanted to say I think you should consider turn your “A Day Will Come When You Won’t Be” series into a book.

I know it would take some work, but if ever you wanted to write a book, that is it right there. When I tell you I’ve been reading fanfiction for nearly a decade and I have read some incredible pieces of fiction, I’ve never read one and thought ‘this deserves to be its own story’ this was it. I love fanfiction, love the ability to see characters in different worlds, situations, relationships etc. but what you did with that was special. That writing deserves to be published, if ever you felt you wanted it to be.

It's a nice idea. Maybe, one day, I could. First though, I'd need to make the characters compelling in their own right, instead of relying on fans' fondness for the original Marvel characters and plot to carry a large portion of the story. Perhaps, I'll try it one of those days.
