This past year made me realize that struggles are predominately internal and regardless of the company you keep, and what you tell them, it's an inadequate form of therapy. Which reflects my unwillingness to talk about my last relationship to any one person (besides maybe E) with complete honesty, and vulnerability because no one will ever give me the comfort I need/seek because they can't.

NYC for NYE. 2015 was the most challenging year of my life and I’m more than satisfied with how it ended/that it has ended. I’ve desensitized myself to a lot of things/people and whether that was the correct way to handle things, it was (imo), the best decision for myself. At the beginning of this year I told myself I needed a break from CA and this trip was exactly what I needed/everything I wanted it to be.

I haven’t had a good December in a few years but ironically-with this year being the worst/most testing year of my life-this December has been the least distressing.
