This would be set a few weeks/months after Freya becomes queen
emma is supposed to be a huntsman too but the bow and arrow business has never been her strong suit
so she makes a suggestion to her queen, she noticed Freya doesn’t have any maids or people to tend to her, she asks if she can be her queens lady in waiting.
help her with the dresses, make dinner, clean, all that jazz
it gets very domestic very quickly
Freya tries (and fails) to ignore how it makes her feel, because feelings are ofc a sin (disgusting, drown me in it). So she’s very cold to Emma at the start
Emma is, unlike the rest of her people, very much not afraid or her
sweet things happen: Freya hovering around Emma while she cleans not really knowing what to do with herself
angsty things happen: Ice crib

I had a scene in mind where Emma wants to give Freya a manicure (someone keeps biting her nails) but she can’t touch her hand without the powers activating.
so they decide to train, so Freya can learn to completely control her powers
I think that could be very sweet and can lead to interesting conversations, Emma wanting to understand where the powers come from and how they work. And Freya refusing to talk about it
they’ll get there with some trust exercises
Emma goes into the room she was told NOT to enter like a nosy idiot (baby crib room), so she’s dusting the room and ofc Freya comes in sees her near the crib and freaks the fuck out. Screaming at Emma to get out.
If any other person had the audacity to do this she would freeze them on the spot, Emma knows this, but she doesn’t.. hmmmmmm
