Before he knew it he was in the water. A bit desorientated, was the least you could say. The first thing he saw when he came back up was her smile, bringing a smile on his own face. He hummed the jaws theme as he came closer to her. He took her hand softly, giving her his best puppy-eyes. “Didn’t think so darling.” he smiled before pulling her into the water. Laughing. 

Stacy held her breath as she went under enjoying the silence under the water feeling safe, she swam underwater and grabbed Austins feet before coming back up and smiling "your'll pay for that" she said with a splash, she hugged himand giggled playing cute for forgiveness.

“Don’t worry.” he said shaking his head, laughing. As she sat down on the edge, he went trough his knees, coming on almost the same height as her. “Thank you for coming swimming with me.” he said, with his cheeks turning a bit red, laughing it of whit a nervous laugh. “I really like spending time with you.”  He saw them, knew the meaning of them, knew the embarrassment that came with them. He bited his lip for a second, not knowing what to do or say. Maybe not saying anything was the best, for now. He was still holding her hand, now running his thumb softly over her wrist, and giving her a kiss on her cheek.   

Stacy saw the look on Austins face before he kissed her cheek, she giggled half from embarasment and half from happiness, "i like spending time with you too" she replied returning his kiss on the cheek feelings his thumb running over the scars, it almost brought her to tears but they were here to have fun so fun they would have, she gently nudged him and he fell into the pool, she laughed loudly from the pools edge as he came up from under the water.

He got into his swimshorts with a big smile on his face. He was happy. He took his towel and clothes and left his cabin. He waited outside her cabin, waiting for her to get ready. When she finally came out he took her hand again, as subtle as it was possible. He liked the feeling of her hand in his. He smiled at her. “Ready to go?” 

She took his hand, hoping he wasnt doing it out of sympathy  "i hope you were not waiting to long" she said with a smile,  knowing she took ages to get ready most of the time no matter what. They walked together hand in hand towards the pool and Stacy sat down on the edge placing her towel away so it would not get wet,now she had nothing covering her arms but she wasnt as nervous as before she looked up at austin with a huge grin.

He smiled at her enthousiasm, following her without even hesitating. “Yeah, let’s go swimming!” he shouted happily after her. He runned farther, making his way to the changing rooms. “I guess our ways end here for a couple of minutes.” he said with a wink, finally letting go of her hand. “I’ll miss you.”

Stacy giggled and blew him a playful kiss, rushing into the girls changing room before he noticed her insane blushing. She wondered over to a cubicle and sliipped off her clothes, inspecting her arms she realised they were not at there woorse and they could possbly go unnoticed..maybe.. She slipped on her bathing suit and grabbed her towel.

He smiled at her. “Don’t blush it’s true.” He wasn’t the one to speak, with his cheeks turning red too. He turned his face away and let it follow by another nervous laugh. He squeezed her hand at little and saw that they were almost where they had to be. “Looks like we found the pool.” he smiled, not seeing that Stacy became a bit more nervous.

Stacy smiled when she saw that austin was blushing, she pretended not to notice and pulled him towards the entrance of the pool, thinking if he noticed so be it, "come on  lets get swimming" she shouted laughing as she did.

Stacy & Lucas | coming clean

Lucas was browsing through his songbook, looking for something to sing and to pass the time, when he heard a knock on his door. He put the guitar away and got up from his bed, and walked towards the door. He saw a nervous-looking Stacy in front of him as he opened it. “Oh, hey, Stacy, what’s up?” he asked, slightly worried. He and her sister haven’t talked much since they went to the amusement park days ago, and he hoped her nervous look wasn’t anything serious.

Stacy gave Lucas a slight smile and sat cross legged on his bed, she sat in silence for awhile thinking of the right words to say. She bit her lip and took another deep breath "so Lucas.. I need to tell you somethin and I DONT want you to be mad at me" she started, feeling the tears in her eyes already, she decided to just straight out show him, "so..." she said, feeling the ter slip down her cheek, she pulle up her sleeve and revealed her scars and new cuts, looking at the bed instead of her brother.

Stacy & Lucas | coming clean

Stacy was worried but she had decided, it was time to tell her best friend her secrets, she needed to get it out, she needed someone to know. She hoped Lucas would understand and not hate her. She couldnt live without her brother. She walked out of her bedroom and headed down the hall towards Lucas' room, she could hear his musi playing, she took a deep  breath and knocked on the door and waited for a reply. Her nerves hadproperly kicked in but she had made her choice to  tell him, she needed somebody to help her through.

Dear Diary...

so I need to go back to school thats for sure... I stayed off the past week just because I can but I need to sort it...

I... think I going to talk to my brother about my cutting.. I hope he doesnt hate me... like thatt scares me so much. that would be the worst. IM GOING TO DO IT NOW.

“Hey!” he said a little to loud. He pressed his lips on eachother when he realised it. “I don’t want my friends to be lonely.” he said, softer. He turned to her. “Surely not the nice and cute ones like you.” he said, with a nervous laugh following. 

Stacy felt her cheeks starting to turn red and tried her best too hide it, she was really starting to like Austin and she hoped that he maybe felt the same beause she didnt want to turn out hurt again. She looked down at their joint together hands and smiled. They were nearly at the pool and her nerves kicked in about her scars.

“Kind of missed you at school.” he shrugged. It was true. Maybe he looked like the hyper, bubbly kid on the outside, but from the inside he didn’t really trust people as quickly as her.  He took her hand while walking. He didn’t really think about the ‘why’, it just felt normal. 

Stacy smiled as Austin took her hand and squeezed his back.  "missed you too, Ive been so lonely" she replied with a smile,she giggled nervously even though she felt completly at ease with Austin she felt she could tell him anything.

He double-checked if he had everything with him. Not that there was much to forget since he actually only needed his shorts and a towel, but he knew he was the person that would be able to even forget these things in his enthousiasm. He left the house and made his way to Stacy. He looked out for it. Stacy made him feel at home more than anyone or anything in this place. When he walked around the corner he saw her already outside. He fastened the way of his feet and ran up to her in the end. “Hi there.” he said in his enthousiasm hugging her.

Stacy hugged him back, smiling at the pleasent greeting. "Hey sweetie" she replied with a massive smile. They both started walking again, chatting about the week they'd had. Stacy asked him about school as she had barely been the previous week as she had felt kind of sick and if lucas was off she was staying off to.
