For the past two months, I wake up every Thursday morning at 3:00 am. I can go back to sleep. I thought maybe it’s because the anniversary of losing you was coming up. Today I googled August 14, 2025, the day I woke up to you gone. It was a Thursday. My entire being misses you so much every day brother. I know to be thankful for the time you touched my life. But damn brother, I miss you so much it hurts. I may never heal from this. But I do know I will see you again, when God decides it’s time. May God heal your soul brother. I love you forever and a day.

Last night, during my breakdown, I realized that I should just be thankful that you were such a blessing for a brief period of time. You were a gift that will never be replaced.
