hello my loves ! i'm super interested in character 23, and let me tell you, i'm writing an app as we speak. i'd like to ask you -- since this rp seems like it's set in such a developed universe, is there anything you want new members to know coming in? any little bits of established canon that are special? i'm always a little overwhelmed with such well written rps like this, so i'm just making sure i haven't missed anything. :~) thank you!

Truly there is nothing you HAVE to know other than what is important to your character. For now, the more important canon plot point is the Davenport Party, in which 21 people died. And the blood moon, which caused the rise of the previously dead.

BIOGRAPHY
Taylor Green grew up in a household with busy parents. They were never around until they had their second child (Taylors younger brother). Even then once his parents realized he was able to take care of his little brother they dumped him on Taylor and continued their busy lives.
Taylor focused on taking care of them, his school, and extra circulars growing up he never had time to make friends, not that they would remember him anyway. He spent most of his high school years in the public library reading about the towns history and learning more about the supernatural that supposedly lives here.
It took four long years but Taylor finally graduated high school going into college to earn a teaching degree for english. Along the way he met a few people but not many stayed, a good possibility they left is his obsession with the supernatural in the town (âitâs stories they tell you to scare you as kids nothing moreâ) that no one believes is really there.
His sophomore year he moved out and got his very own place in the apartments and continues to live there well into his teacher years (they donât make that much you know). Now he teaches Senior English at the local high school and he likes to think his students think heâs a pretty cool teacher.

THE MOON
A rare super blue blood moon was charted for the 31st, an event many people were looking forward to. In Wallcord however, thereâs something else in the sky...
The moon is abnormally large and bright red and from the ground, the dead rise.
ABOUT
The moon is large and red, painfully hard to miss. The real oddity is rooted in the people suddenly showing up on the streets---the dead. Those youâd buried in Wallcord, those youâd love. Theyâre back, theyâre breathing, and they miss you. Your neighbor, your mother, the man you killed last tuesday....not all the dead are back, but itâs currently enough to cause stir.
But thereâs a catch, there always is. The risen may seem to be normal, and that might last for a couple of hours or days, but soon their minds will dissolve and they will become a memory of what you once knew. They will be monsters soon, ravenous and nothing like the people you once loved.Â
Sweet lady Dolores would never hurt a fly, but now she wants your brain.Â
WEREWOLVES
A supermoon had always been a praised event, a blood moon a sacred one...but this? This makes your blood boil and your body itch with anger. You may find it harder to control yourself, and angry for no particular reason. This will only last the night of the blood moon though, thankfully. Unfortunately those dead are still roaming around.

Only one of them is a nerdy woman, the rest are soulless clones bent on murder...and on attempting to mimic the real Lyra.
These Lyras are a result of her blood being used to raise the dead, and are nothing more than spirits summoned as a result of the ritual.

BIOGRAPHY
Every energy was different. From the ones who laughed, and the ones who cried, but each did the job. For Lilly, getting into a habit was never her strong suit. Staying in one place; even less likely. But this time was different. She was going to be different.
It was a constant fight, and fighting your natural instincts were not always easy. It was always just better for her to turn the charm on and sleep with whoever she needed to in order to get what she wanted. But no more.
It was time to grow up, settle down, and maybe even reproduce. Big maybe. Nonetheless, it was time to start the life that she wants for herself in 10 years. A nice, normal, quiet, white-picket fence type life. Well, maybe not all that, but she would take what she could get.
âThe term âLone Wolfâ is a misnomer. Wolves are pack animals. They need to be with their pack, their family.â
That was how her fatherâs lecture always began, a lecture Emerson had been hearing since before she was born. Her family made up a majority of the largest pack in Northern California and from before she was born, her aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents were all casting bets on what the newest pack member would be like. As the first child of the packâs Alpha, it only made sense that she would take after him, that she would one day guide the pack with the same wisdom and strength as her father did.
The only problem was that she had no interest in the path set before for since birth. Wild and energetic, she wasnât a follower, nor was she a leader. She ran under the moon with no concern for anyone or anything, chasing pleasure and adrenaline and freedom. And to make matters worse, she wasnât the least apologetic about it. As much as it disappointed her father, she would never be the pack leader she was born to be. She was the epitome of what heâd always said never should have existed; A true lone wolf.
When she left home at seventeen, it wasnât because she was cast out, but rather, because she had grown restless and irritable. Despite never seeing eye to eye with her father, he understood that she would never be happy with the pack. With her fatherâs blessing, her camera, and a duffle bag, she hopped on her motorcycle and drove away from the only life sheâd ever known. With help from her fatherâs international connections, she quickly made a name for herself as a freelance photographer, and from there, she never looked back.
Emerson never imagined that she would fall in love with, Â not only a young mother, but her daughter as well. Sheâd only been in Wallcord for a few days when saw her for the first time and as she got to know the little family, she realized that she was content, that she didnât want to move on like she always did. She finally understood what her father had always said about wolves needing a pack.
And the thought alone terrified her.
So she did what she did best; she ran. After the happiest year of her life, she fled. This time, though, Emerson couldnât help but look back. From time to time, sheâd stop in to the small town, insisting it was for work. Deep down, though, she knew it was to quell the longing that had taken up residence in her soul from the moment she turned away from the happiness that she had found in them.

BIOGRAPHY
It started with the dreams. White hot, twisted and curled into red licking flames, the smell of burn that clung to the air even after eyes snapped open and lips formed a scream. Usually one that had parents flocking into her room in the middle of the night, concerned voices raised high. âWhatâs wrong baby girl?â âAre you okay, whatâs going on?â. Like a flock of birds they would descend upon her, arms curling around her tiny frame. And there in safety the little blonde girl would drift back off to sleep.
After awhile the dreams just seemed⌠Second nature and the screaming in the middle of the night, the flock of concerned parents, all stopped. But the smell lingered even after her eyes opened.
After age five Penelope was a bundle of laughter. It bubbled to the top, spilling over until her jokes and sing song voice caused all those around her to fall in line. Her jokes were a success. Her laughter infectious. Her smile captivating. She was sunshine, a blue sky during summer days, pin pricked stars during summer nights. But even blue skies often became clouded. And these cloudy days found her settled in her room, nestled in a mess of art books, violin strings and thoughts of burning flesh and walls and scorched earth.
Such thoughts were never discussed outside of the four walls of her own mind.
She studied fine art, per her motherâs wishes, picked up a classical instrument per her fatherâs encouragement (violin was always her favorite, itâs curves and fine strings, the bow and bow). She worked hard in her classes, though grades would slip when students took to crowding around her desk while she told some fool story. A distraction. One who talked with such vigor, such dramatic gestures and claims and after awhile crude words that caused snickers behind hands. A sailors mouth matched with pretty blue eyes, that messy blonde hair, the charisma to charm an army.
It seemed Nel wasnât the only one hiding a little secret.
One that reared its ugly head the day she turned eighteen and moved into her very first apartment. The first night the dream was the same, the white hot, the red licking flames, the smell of burning flesh. All the same⌠except the rise in temperature around her half naked frame. Settled in bed, late at night, eyes snapped open to the rage that surrounded her.
That night she managed to burn through her bedroom, tinge the beginning of the living room. The firefights that crashed through her door found her huddled in the corner, clothes singed, ends of hair fried and not a mark upon her skin or a blemish upon her lungs.
What a way to find out.

Were her dreams punishment for being such a thing? The word came with a tinge of shame, the lack of knowledge on how to control such⌠things could harm those around her. But those around her⌠should they know? For now Nel would hide herself, as she always did, behind the jokes, laughter and sun shiny smiles.
