First week back
So I'm a part time student, and my major is art. Not gonna disclose which school I go to, but it is a university and is considerably cheaper than most schools in the US. I decided to adopt the concept of ghosting in the schooling sense. Which means I will be dropping into classes, all lecture-style, during my free periods. Is this practice right? Some argue it's justified since students pay high prices for the luxury to attend an institute of higher learning. But others say it's just ripping off the school. Do I care? Not really, especially since my school has had a scandal recently involving the mishandling of funds going toward activities for folks who aren't even involved with the school. Now ain't that a load of bullshit?? Anyways, I have a whole list of classes organized by time frame, location and room size. I prioritize rooms that can seat hundreds of students comfortably, and can feel free to listen and not stress about memorizing the lessons for tests. I feel it's like an appetizer for future semesters. And since no one calls roll, I can blend in and come and go whenever I please. I've already done this with Music Appreciation and Philosophy and currently waiting for Astronomy. I'll be updating my adventures, so if you have any questions or tips, follow and shoot them my way!!
