Solitude
I recently realized that my Amazon Prime account allows me to get some free reads on my kindle, and the first thing I’ve ready is “The sun and her flowers” by Rupi Kaur. One of the poems that I really liked was about falling in love with your solitude. I consider myself an extrovert, but I also have no problem staying home and playing games or watching tv by myself. Some days though, like this bland Sunday, I feel almost anxious sitting here watching the day go by. As I write this, it’s currently 3:53 pm and I have done ABSOLUTELY nothing the entire day. I almost have no clue what to do with myself, and this is one of the most frustrating feelings. I think we all have days like this where you almost feel wrong for having nothing to do. I’ve even talked myself out of the gym 4 times today just because I want to not leave my house. I think it’s okay to feel like this but it would be nice if it didn’t make me feel so antsy. Maybe I’ll get the will to paint or move, but that would require energy haha! What do you like to do on days where you have no plans and no urge to make plans?
