On your recent part 30 observation post, I just wanted to share that I am also a moon 10th house opposite pluto 4th house as well!

Your birth sounded potentially dangerous! Similarly to mine, my umbilical cord was wrapped around my neck, disconnecting the blood flow or oxygen to the brain. (Common, but usually harmless I looked up online shortly. Based off my mom’s memory). She said I started turning purple until they managed to free me from it, which doesn’t sound very normal to me, so I just always believed that I had a near death experience at the time of my birth as well. Just found that interesting, if you’d call that furthermore proof of moon relating to childbirth aha

What happened to you is actually exactly what happened to my mum when she was born! I was going to mention it in the post but I forgot as I focused on how her Moon opposite Uranus aspect affected how she gave birth rather than her own birth itself. Luckily she was okay though and made a full recovery, though both me and her experience a particular sensitivity around our necks which we think may be related to her experience. If you don’t mind me asking, do you experience this? 👀

General astrology observations ~ Part thirty

-> Placements in your 12H can show how you might behave in solitude / isolation.

For example, Sun in 12H might become more expressive, playful and creative. Moon in 12H might become more withdrawn, emotional and family-oriented. And so on. 🪄

-> Adding onto my previous point, where your 12H ruler is located in your chart and what it’s doing can show what role solitude / isolation might play in your life.

As an example of this, having your 12H ruler on your DSC might mean you meet a partner when you feel isolated or ‘unseen’, or your partner might come across that way, and there might be an unexplainable spiritual connection between you. Could meet in hospitals, prisons, foreign countries, etc. 😶‍🌫️

-> 9H/12H ruler on any of your angles could indicate that foreign countries could make a significant impact in your life.

So that could mean…

9H/12H ruler on ASC -> Foreign countries could shape your identity, change your outlook on life and affect how you approach life. 9H/12H ruler on IC -> Foreign countries could feel more homely or sentimental for you, you might have family abroad and you may feel a strong pull to certain places for no apparent reason. 9H/12H ruler on DSC -> Foreign countries could show you the opposite or ‘missing’ side of yourself, your spouse might be from or related to foreign countries and you may marry (or divorce) in a foreign country. 9H/12H ruler on MC -> Foreign countries could advance your career, you might use foreign resources for work (such as speaking in a different language) and you might be popular among people in different countries. 🗺️

-> 11H, 3H, or 4H connections to 2H, 6H, or 10H in a Natal chart can indicate making money off your community / your origins or nationality affecting your career greatly.

Some examples of this are Shakira (widely known for popularising Latin music in Western countries), Ricky Martin (again, known for popularising Latin music in Western countries, especially with his hit song ‘Livin’ La Vida Loca’), Antonio Banderas (his Hispanic identity plays a major role in his movie parts, like Alejandro in The Mask of Zorro or Puss in Boots from the Shrek / Puss in Boots franchise), and so on! 📍

-> I’ve noticed that those with a Cancer Moon or a Taurus Moon can be more prone to things like separation anxiety, homesickness, emotional identity crises, et cetera. 🤧

-> I’ve also noticed that natives with Moon-Mars aspects (especially square, opposite, conjunct) can be very prone to ‘feminine rage’, regardless if they express it or not. Especially if Moon or Mars are strongly placed. 🙅‍♀️

-> Your 1H could tell you about your mother’s reputation, as it is Derived 10H from 4H.

For example, my 1H contains my Venus & Saturn. My mother is generally considered to be an attractive woman (even winning a beauty competition as a child) and gets flirted with frequently, and she’s also known for running a local business and managing a local community hub. Saturn is also one of her chart rulers! 👩‍🍼

-> Mercury in aspect to either the ASC or the MC can make or break a very good or very bad liar depending on the aspect, Mercury’s condition and the signs involved. 🤥

-> On this topic, your 2H & your 5H might show you how good you are (or aren’t) at detecting lies and liars. This is because 2H is derived 3H from 12H and 5H is derived 6H from 12H. 12H rules hidden things and secrets, 3H & 6H are both related to thinking, observation and communication.

As examples, having a strong Mercury or Jupiter in 2H or 5H could make you good at detecting lies and liars. Whereas Mars or Uranus in these houses may make you jump the gun on these assumptions, ultimately clouding your judgement. And so on. 🎱

-> Cliche but I notice that Aries Venuses can get very angry at their partner VERY easily, no matter how soft or passive the rest of their chart may be. 🧨

-> Pisces placements really aren’t given enough credit for how selfless they are. They can be just as if not MORE self-sacrificing than Virgos, but due to their Neptune / 12H influence, they tend to be overlooked.

For example, Virgos may be seen as and rewarded for being selfless in conventional service roles, such as being vigilant parents or guardians, working in a service-oriented careers or side hustles, et cetera. Whereas Pisceans tend to fall into more unconventional or unofficial servicing conditions, like being a stand-in parent to their younger siblings, being the ‘mom friend’, or doing small things for the community, which can all be easily overlooked and overshadowed.

This contrast may also be true for 6H & 12H placements. 🦸

-> Somewhat theoretical, but your Moon placement might indicate how your birth went, and possibly how it will unfold if you ever give birth.

As examples, I have my 10H Moon opposite my 4H Pluto. This means my Moon sits in the house opposite the house that the Moon should naturally reside in, and I was a breach baby (meaning I was literally facing upside down)! I was also born via C-section due to this, which is where that Moon-Pluto aspect gets involved, as Pluto rules invasion & penetration, which happens in surgeries, including C-sections.

My mother also has her Moon opposite her Uranus, and both me and my brother came earlier than our due dates and had to be C-sections rather than regular births. 🐣

General astrology observations ~ Part twenty-nine

-> Those with their Mars placed in a Cadent house (3H, 6H, 9H, 12H) can have a bit of an on-sight vibe about them… as in they’re not too fussy about when or where they get into a fight or debate, it just happens when it happens… 🥷

-> Oddly specific but those with 5H-12H contacts might feel more able or even more safe to express themselves at night, contributing to them being night owls. 🦉

-> Scorpio / 8H / Pluto-aspected Mercuries might be really into psychological theories, personality types and typology.

These could be things like attachment theory, enneagrams (as well as instincts and tritypes!), MBTI, and so on.❓

-> Those with Sun in 1H or on the Ascendant can have a very self-expressive style—for example I have this and I love wearing pins or jewellery that relate to my interests or causes that I support when I can! 🎗️

-> For those of us that experience hyperfixations (shoutout to the ND crowd) I’ve noticed that transits to your 11H might be occurring when you discover and / or start a new one. 💡

-> Pisces & Aries is a really wonderful combo in a chart when expressed healthily. Yes, these natives can be extremely emotional and even volatile, but when evolved these people can own up to that and otherwise be very passionate and fiercely loyal individuals. ❤️‍🔥

-> I swear I always have the strangest dreams whenever the Moon is transiting my 12H. Does anyone else experience this? 😴

-> I personally think that the IC in your Natal chart is often overlooked in terms of how important it is regarding your self-perception.

Like… your MC quite literally governs how the general public views you. So logically, the IC—as the MC’s opposite—plays a major part in how you view yourself. Including the IC’s rulers (planet/s governing the IC’s sign. For example, I have a Scorpio IC, so my Pluto & Mars rule my IC). 👤

General astrology observations ~ Part twenty-eight

-> Okay so this one’s a bit odd but hear me out—just like people are often attracted to the opposites of their placements (ex: an Aries Venus may be attracted to a Libra Venus), they can also be attracted to the opposite placements of the people consistently around them.

For example, I have a lot of Leo Moons around me, yet one of my favourite Moon signs is Aquarius Moons. 🌑

-> Air Moons with their Moon in opposition to a Fire Venus may joke to hide their emotions. 🃏

-> Capricorn Moons can—ironically—have a very parental energy about them.

Maybe not in the obvious ‘I’ll dote on and nurture you’ way of Cancer or Taurus Moons, but in a ‘I’ll do what I must and be there for you, even when you think that you don’t need me’ way.

Ex: Pedro Pascal has a Capricorn Moon and is known for playing protective fatherly roles, such as in The Last Of Us and in The Mandalorian. 👨

-> Those with 1H-3H links might sometimes tend to be the target of rumours or gossip, even if it’s untrue. So clear boundaries and communication are essential if possible. 🤐

-> If negatively aspected, your Venus placement could show your objective beauty challenges or ‘flaws’.

For example, my 1H Virgo Venus is slightly afflicted. So for me, it’s the small details that can blunder.

As an example of this, I have wavy hair—which is nice—but the amount of untameable frizz is fucking unreal and sooo frustrating! 💇‍♀️

-> This is so cliche but those with Sun conjunct Venus really can attract admirers like a magnet, even if they don’t realise it.

When I was little I was close to a boy with this placement. I’m not lying now, me and this other girl used to meet up sometimes just to discuss how we both had a massive crush on him. 😍

-> Not always but sometimes Fire placements with an Earth or Air Moon can seem like they care a lot more than they do.

Types to get into full blown fights or debates, then you later find out they were just there for the love of the game. ⚔️

-> Cancer Moons, 4H Moons, Cancer Venuses and 4H Venuses could possibly be the types to be into older music (such as 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s or even 2000s hits or earlier). Even if it’s not from their generation.

(As a Cancer Moon, I’m guilty as charged of this lolz.) 💿

-> Water Moons can be extremely forgiving. Giving people a second chance? More like they’ll give someone hundreds more chances. This is very sweet, but can be detrimental to them if they aren’t careful. 🐬

-> Although—to add to this—Water Moons do have a breaking point. Sometimes this can result in them ghosting you or going no contact, even for a short period of time. Sometimes for the foreseeable future.

This is especially the case with Scorpio Moons. If they decide to slam that door, don’t bet all your hopes on them reopening it. Not fully, anyway. 🚫

-> Those who have Pluto, Uranus or Saturn aspecting their Venus—especially negatively (square, opposition, conjunct) could be embarrassed or ashamed of their interests. Even more so if Venus is in a very visible place (1H, 7H, 10H). ♟️

General astrology observations ~ Part twenty-seven

-> Taurus Moons can somehow be living in the most chaotic environment possible yet still manage to make a home out of it. 🏢

-> JUST A THEORY but those who have two planets ruling their DSC / 7H (so Taurus, Leo, and Virgo risings) could tend to be attracted to multiple genders or just a wider range of people in general. 💞

-> Having both Mutable and Saturn dominance is so weird. Like one day you’re swearing everything on one aesthetic just to completely rock up with a different one mere days later. 🎀

-> Honestly I used to think that the ‘dress in the colours of your Venus sign’s element’ advice was too literal and tacky but I swear I really do get the best compliments when I’m in earthy tones. 🌿

So I guess that rule isn’t complete bogus… therefore I’d say that:

Fire Sign Venuses should go for reds, oranges, yellows, even greys or blacks.

Earth Sign Venuses should go for greens, browns, reds/oranges, and pastels.

Air Sign Venuses should go for whites, greys, purples, pinks, and sunset oranges.

And Water Sign Venuses should go for blues, blacks, neons, some whites.

But I am also a fashion girlie so please take what naturally suits you into account. 👗

-> Placements being in the same element doesn’t immediately make them compatible. As an example, I’m a Cancer Moon and whilst I love Scorpio Moons sometimes they can be too much for me. 🌓

-> Moon and / or 4H in aspect to Neptune and / or 12H can prefer to express or feel their emotions through music. Sometimes they may even use music to understand the feelings of others. 🎧

(I have this and since I’m a writer I genuinely form playlists to help me map characters’ feelings and arcs!)

-> 7H synastry can be overhyped. Yes, 7H signifies your other half, spouse or sometimes even your soulmate. But remember, the 7H is a mirror.

And sometimes, mirrors aren’t easy to look into. You can be insecure about your reflection. Feel exposed and imperfect. Want to avoid addressing your insecurities. And so on.

Think, would that be fair to either of you? Would you like to constantly feel too vulnerable, judged, almost relentlessly if there aren’t other grounding aspects / house synastry?

No, it wouldn’t. 🪞

-> Virgo gives ~ ‘Jack of all trades, master of none’ vibes. 🧠 Capricorn gives ~ ‘master of one’ vibes. 🏆 Taurus gives ~ ‘nepo baby’ vibes. 💸 (This is a joke don’t come at me ✨)

-> People say that Capricorn Risings have judgy faces… ever met an Aquarius Rising? THEY’RE JUST AS BAD.

Again, I do love you Aquarius Risings, but when they give you that little ✨glance✨ and pull the most indecipherable face of the century it tends to drive one a little bit mad.

-> Moon opposite Venus can be a very difficult aspect to have. On the one hand, these individuals may have a lot of love to give. But on the other, they just don’t know how to give it or if they’re even safe to give it. ↔️

Some say that astrology isn’t real, I still remember during lockdown when my ‘gaming’ GC that solely consisted of a Cancer Moon, two Pisces Moons and a Scorpio Moon used to host weekly ‘crying nights’ (yes, that is literally what we titled it) where we’d stay up late and cry to each other about our troubles over video call…

General astrology observations ~ Part twenty-six

-> Libra and / or 7H Mercuries can tend to be massive over-sharers. And very tone deaf to when people don’t wanna hear it in some instances. 💁

-> Lots of people look out for major transits to their Natal Charts, but don’t forget to look at major transits to your Solar Return Chart, Lunar Return Charts, Progressions and Annual Profections! Sometimes they can be even more telling. 🪄

-> If you have 9H-4H contacts in a Solar Return or Lunar Return you might go on a family vacation around that time. 🛫

-> I was listening to the song ‘How Will I Know’ by Whitney Houston and realised it matches the Virgo Venus experience surprisingly well. Particularly its overthinking vibe.❓

-> Adding onto the previous observation, lots of people like to point out how Virgo Venuses can externalise criticism regarding love and relationships, but don’t think about how we internalise it so much.

For a Virgo Venus, details are paramount in love and relationships. And contrary to popular belief, this isn’t only through criticism and high standards.

It can be through overthinking falling in love (e.g., ‘do they like me back?’, ‘am I coming on too strong?’, ‘what did that look mean?’) and chastising yourself for not being able to work it out. 🔎

-> Gemini Venuses are some of the best flirts because most of the time they’re not even trying to, they just DO. 😏

-> Certain Aries Moons might try to live vicariously through their children, as they tie their own identity heavily to them. 🎡

-> I think transitional periods between transits can be very overlooked.

For example, when I’m transitioning from one Lunar Return to the next, it doesn’t just immediately happen in a snap.

The themes slowly emerge in the days just before it. Likely because of applying degrees, which people tend to ignore until they’re closer in orb. But I think they should still be paid attention to. ⏰

-> I don’t know if anyone has noticed but with this whole Cancer Jupiter I’ve noticed that pregnancies and babies are literally EVERYWHERE? Like yes I know people are always getting pregnant and having babies but never in clusters like THIS. 🍼

-> Certain individuals with 8H or 12H ruler in 12H or 5H may be at risk of romanticising trauma. Their own or others. 🩸

How the Venus placements fall in love ~ Part 1

Aries Venus

Falling in love for these people is fast, all-in and determined. It’s like the notion becomes apart of them that must be acted on. Ruled by Mars, these people can even become more agitated or angry in love depending on the situation (particularly if it isn’t working out for them).

They want their partner do be their ride-or-die. A constant in their life. A puzzle piece that can’t be taken away.

They first notice that they’re falling in love when their irritation or alertness heightens. They go from walking to the beat of their own drum to feeling like the whole word has eyes on them. They may fight it at first, but eventually seek out their partner like they’re a piece of them that’s been missing and it’s time to claim it back. They’ll become very persistent in being a part of their partner’s life, practically becoming attached at the hip. But the Aries Venus doesn’t want this in a way that makes either party lose themselves. It’s about mutual empowerment.

Taurus Venus

These people experience falling in love as a slow, sensual experience. Like a breach of security that can be pleasant or unpleasant. With fixed and Venusian energy, they might feel urged to fall back on their natural resources more. And they might find that love makes them more indulgent.

They want their partner to be safe. An unwavering home. Someone who’d never betray them.

When they’re falling in love it’s like their partner sneaks up on them, slowly bleeding through the cracks of the walls they put up. And when they do, it feels like a sensual assault. It can feel like everything they’ve ever wanted falls into their lap at once, and that can be dangerously enticing. Love enamours them and they eventually find themselves becoming handsy or devoted. They don’t take love slowly as part of a game, it’s not about the quantity of time for them, it’s about love’s quality. Give them that, and they’re smitten.

Gemini Venus

Individuals here experience a whole other type of overwhelm when they fall in love. Every little interaction must suddenly be named. And with their Mercurial influence, they may feel urged to make snap decisions more often, rather than their usual go-with-the-flow approach.

They want their partner to be easygoing and open-minded. A delightful addition rather than an added stressor to daily life.

Falling in love is a will-they-won’t-they experience for these natives. Romance that keeps everyone on their toes (including them) and quickly becomes the hottest gossip around. This can feel both exhilarating and pressuring for these individuals. Lovers have a way of getting closer and closer and before these people know it they’re in the situation-ship for the ages. It can take a bit of time for these natives to admit to being in love, but when they do? Things just fall into place. 

Cancer Venus

For the moon-inspired romantics, falling in love can feel like coming home—or having it invaded. Sometimes both feelings at once. Either way, lovers touch the Cancer Venus’s soul, for better or worse. And being cardinal water, these natives can’t always curb their desire to dive deep into those depths.

They want their partner to be an extension of home. A part of it as well as its continuation. Always their rock.

It’s as if their home is being renovated on a whim when they fall in love. Their idea of comfort changes and that can feel both terrifying and relieving for these natives. Before they know it, the love of their life (or who seems to be) is in their home. And ironically, the Cancer Venus may struggle to remember if they invited them or if they just showed up and they somehow didn’t mind. Love is sudden. Love is an invasion. But when they think about it, love is the warm cocoon that replaces the cold walls they’ve spent their whole lives building.

Leo Venus

Ruled by the Sun, how could our dear Leo Venuses not experience a movie-like romance at least once in their lives? Besides, it’s not like they mind it. They NEED lovers to treat romance as a spectacle. How else could they know for certain it’s love? These individuals will not risk their ego by jumping blindly into romance. It has to feel true.

They want their partner to be outgoing or at least unabashed regarding love. Proud to be their lover and never questions their loyalty.

The experience of falling in love should be unmistakable. In the spotlight, full of heart and attentions unwavering. No matter what they do themselves, they do NOT let others play them. And if someone dares to do as such? Our Leo Venuses will be planning the most cinematic revenge possible. But with real love, they can be just as dramatic. Big gifts, declarations and loyalty galore. Infidelity is especially despised by these individuals and they’ll never be afraid to expose a cheater.

Virgo Venus

Mercurial and mutable, these individuals can find falling in love a very fluctuating experience. Not something to be taken lightly or simplified. Love is simultaneously a puzzle and a mystery, which these individuals just can’t ignore.

They want their partner to be intriguing yet up to standards. Like a puzzle that’s fun to take apart but can always be reassembled.

In a way, they can feel like detectives when they fall in love. For better or worse. Discovering and serving on all the little things that make their partner tick can be very rewarding for a Virgo Venus. But on the flip side, they can overthink a lot. These are the people keeping mental notes on their partner. The people secretly taking ‘do they love me?’ quizzes online. The people trying to piece together patterns that may not exist at all, just to try to make sense of their feelings. Or those of others.

General astrology observations ~ Part twenty-five

-> Those with 12H-10H contacts might end up exposing secrets publicly. 🤫

-> Incompatible synastry, especially with oppositions can be what test your growth and maturity the most. But it can also be very karmic and rewarding. Especially if Saturn is involved. 🪐

-> Virgo and Gemini Risings may attract long-distance relationships (Jupiter-ruled signs Sagittarius and Pisces on the DSC / 7H). 🧭

-> Those with Mercury-Uranus aspects may have a bizzare sense of humour. 🎠

-> Capricorn Moons can have excellent memories. On par with Cancer Moons.

The moon rules memory. Which is why Cancer Moons are often praised for having a good memory, but it’s very emotional and nostalgia focused.

Capricorn Moons, however, can carry a more objective, long-term memory not clouded by feelings and archived for safekeeping, not for comfort. 🧠

-> Taurus placements can be very past-oriented, sometimes as much as Cancer placements. It’s just rooted more so in security than nostalgia. It is the exalted Moon sign, after all. 🐂

-> More personal but in the one Solar Return I had a 0° Mercury overlaying my Natal 2H I started keeping a journal that year. 👀 📓

-> Those with a Leo IC might live somewhere relatively well-known or even famous. Or their home may just be a big part of their self-expression and identity. 🌉

-> For Virgo Risings, when they’re sick it can be very obvious.

Such as they may get very pale, have breakouts, suffer severe symptoms and look almost entirely different than normal. 🤒

-> Planets that hold a lot of prominence in your chart (in angular houses, conjunct angles, aspecting chart ruler, heavily aspected, etc) can show what sign seasons you’re most affected in.

For example, if you have a prominent Venus, you may feel heavily affected during Taurus & Libra season. With a prominent Pluto, you may feel most affected during Scorpio season. And so on. 🌈

-> When your Vertex gets activated by transits (especially via conjunctions) it may be useful to look at your Vertex sign’s planet ruler to embody the transit more (encouraging fated experiences).

So, if you have Capricorn Vertex, look at Saturn in your chart and embodying it more during the Vertex transit. If you have Leo Vertex, look at Sun in your chart and embodying it more during the Vertex transit. And so on. 🔄

-> Moon-Neptune transits can really fuck up your memory, even in the moment, so be careful of that. Inattentional blindness / deafness galore. 😶‍🌫️

-> Mars transits to personal planets and angles can be very hit and miss all at once. On one hand, you may experience energy highs, spurts of motivation and important progressions in life.

But you also may experience heavy lows or crash outs after these experiences, either due to energy withdrawal or disappointment that those experiences don’t stay ongoing. 🎰

-> Leos and Cancers could very well be the biggest optimists of the zodiac, due to both signs fast-changing ruling planets (Sun & Moon). Could also apply to Geminis and Virgos (Mercury is fast), but Mercury is a tad too jittery for abundant optimism. It’s all about energy renewal. 🍀

-> The turning point in a year for you can often be around the time that planets start to activate the house ruling your profection year. Bonus points if your Lord of the Year (LoY)—which rules the house of your profection year—is also aspected.

As an example, if 8H is ruling your profection year, a stellium transiting through that house can mark a significant part of the year. ⏳

-> Adding on to this, the Transit Moon moving through your profection house can signify more often but still significant points of the year.

-> Pisces Mars anger is very complex.

At its worst, it’s like a layered, heavily guarded ocean. Its own world shrouded in secrets. Deceptively still until you anger them enough for them to expose their ocean of anger, triggering them to unleash monster waves of frustration at you, drowning you out before you can explain.

At its best, they allow their emotions—including anger—to be complex. Often elusive. But they don’t do this at a secretive level, more of a introverted level. But when the need arises for confrontation, they can offer deep insights and creative solutions. This can make them surprisingly adept mediators. 🌊

General astrology observations ~ Part twenty-four

-> Your Mercury placement might indicate what books or stories you like to read. Consider the sign, house placement and planetary aspects involved. 📚

-> Moon-influenced 11H or 4H-11H contacts might find comfort in the internet. 💻

-> A mixture of Earth + Air energy in a chart can cause someone to be a bit world-wary. 🤨

-> Planetary aspects to your MC or 10H can show how you realise what career you want to pursue.

For example, a Venus-influenced MC or 10H might realise their desired career through self-care, indulgence or even through other people. Mercury-influenced MC or 10H might realise their desired career through observation, reading or weighing pros and cons. Etc. 🎓

-> Having a Mars or Uranus-influenced 10H or MC might indicate someone who gets random promotions, as in when they least expect it or when they hadn’t gave it much thought. 📈

-> Leo Venuses might be big on gift-giving as a love language. Type of people to indulge promise rings, matching jewellery or outfits, favourite foods and the like. 🎁

-> Cardinal Mercuries (♈️♋️♎️♑️) can be some of the best planners when they put their mind to it. 🗒️

-> Even though your Venus indicates your general love style, your Descendant might show you what drives the way you act around your significant other.

As an example, someone with a Taurus Descendant and an Aries Venus would be driven to provide security for their partner, and would do so by protecting them and motivating them. ❤️‍🔥

-> Sagittarius and Pisces placements can be surprised or shocked easily. They don’t like to presume anything. 😱

-> Those with a 9H Venus might find that their beauty is more valued in foreign towns / cities / countries or by foreign people. 🏙️

-> Your Sun midpoints could show how good your acting abilities are (or not) in certain areas.

So, your Sun / Mercury midpoint might show your voice acting skills. Your Sun / Mars midpoint might show your physical acting skills. Your Sun / Moon midpoint your emotional acting skills. Your Sun / Venus midpoint your social acting skills. And so on. ☀️

-> I’d argue that 7H Venus attracts others more easily than 1H Venus.

7H is all about others, 1H is all about yourself. And yes, whilst 1H Venus makes Venusian themes a part of your identity, you have to put more active effort, self-care and soul-searching into it. 7H Venus is more simple, about the give-and-take of relationships as they are. 💕

General astrology observations ~ Part twenty-three

-> Those with a Cardinal Mercury (♈️♋️♎️♑️) might ramble a lot when they’re anxious. 😥

-> Leo Suns get seen as flirty when they’re just trying to be friendly and Libra Suns get seen as just friendly when they’re trying to flirt. ♌️♎️

-> Those with a Cancer Venus might like to move in with their lovers quickly. 🏠 🦀

-> Moon in or ruling a native’s 11H can cause them to go through continuous phases of different interests.

Type of people to change their favourite song or movie every few months. And they’ll often be quite obsessive over this interest just to then drop it randomly in favour of the next. 🎶🌙

-> If you don’t feel that the placements in your 1H align very well with what they suggest you look like vs what you do look like, check the house connections these placements make.

They’re more likely to actually affect your appearance if they’re connected to a more body-based house like 2H or 6H. Otherwise, they probably affect you in more of a personality appearance kind of way. 👤

-> Libra Mars might sometimes seem quite dramatic in arguments due to the fact that they like to get people involved. They literally gather a crowd like it’s court. 🧑‍⚖️

-> Gemini and Virgo Mars might have a talent for making traps and snares. Tying knots also. MAYBE rope-climbing. 🪢

-> Natives with Moon & Mars in the same sign, especially if conjunct, might tend to have the same energy level all the time.

Your Moon shows how you decompress and your Mars how you energise. When they are the same it creates a sort of energetic wavelength. This has its pros and cons. 🟰

-> Scorpio 5H can struggle in causal relationships, scaring partners away with premature intensity. 🦂🖤

-> Those with 8H-11H contacts might like apocalypse movies. 🧟

-> Cancer Mars might benefit from having an at-home gym if they can afford it. 🏋️

-> Virgo Mercuries can have a tendency to send long texts rather than sending multiple short ones. We gotta cram everything in there. 💬

-> Libra Mercuries may also like assigning nicknames or pet-names to people. 🧁

-> More general but I think looking at people’s Mercury & Mars combination is interesting because it shows how they rationalise vs how they act. 🤔

General astrology observations ~ Part twenty-two

-> This one’s kinda niche, but if you experience menstrual cycles, times where the Transit moon is tightly aspecting a malefic in your chart when you’re menstruating can give you a harder time. Especially if it’s also negatively aspecting your Natal moon. Check signs + houses involved for more detail as well. 🩸🌑

-> I’ve noticed that Aries Venus, Virgo Venus & Scorpio Venus’ bodies don’t tend to react well to sweets, chocolate or just junk food in general. Particularly if aspecting 2H also.

This could be due to the fact that these signs are debilitated / in fall in Venus, which rules indulgence.🍫

-> More of a theory but your Mercury placement could indicate what kind of driver you are / could be? Seeing as Mercury is connected to Gemini & 3H which both rule vehicles / transport. 🚗

-> I’ve also noticed that Gemini placements can be some of the biggest car buffs. 🤓

-> More so irony but I find it quite funny that I’m a Virgo stellium and some of my most popular posts on here are my astrology OBSERVATIONS. 🔬♍️

-> Water sign placements might have strong swearing tendencies as it can emphasise emotion. 🤬

-> The house that Pisces rules in your chart could show where you lack control. As Pisces / 12H dissolves boundaries and manifests confusion.

As examples, Pisces 6H could lack control regarding health, daily routines, work, etc. Pisces 2H could lack control regarding finances, possessions, practical environment, etc. And so on. ♓️

-> Your 2H might show you what sorts of shops you might like to frequent. Look at the ruling sign, house ruler/s, house placements and aspects for information. 🛍️

-> Venus in or ruling 3H or 5H might’ve had more romantic experiences in their childhood, adolescence or early adulthood. 💓

-> 10H ruler in 1H or 5H might desire recognition in their career. 🎖️

-> Gemini, Virgo or Mercury-influenced 2H might be picky eaters. 🍽️

-> Taurus Venus might like making or serving food for their partners. Also making a comfortable environment (like cleaning, buying them blankets, things like that). 🍳

-> Having a Sagittarius, Pisces or Jupiter-aspected Mercury could indicate a drawing talent. ✍️

-> 6H synastry can have a ‘turned up one day and changed your life’ vibe. These people deeply affect your daily life and routines… possibly renewing them. 🌻

-> People with Sagittarius, Pisces or Jupiter prominence might struggle with claustrophobia. 🪤

-> Mutable risings (♊️♍️♐️♓️) might have the most expressive faces. 😶

-> Those with Mercury in or aspecting 4H might feedback a lot of local gossip to their family (especially if Mercury is in an Air sign or Virgo). 🙊

-> Taurus Risings might have a strong jawline (Taurus being a Fixed Earth sign that rules the jaw). 🫦

-> Having Moon or Mars aspecting your Descendant or 7H could make you protective of your partners. 🥊

-> Libra Moons might be the type of people to cry when they see other people cry. 😭

-> Those with 5H/7H ruler in 1H/10H might be prone to having relationships just for the sake of reputation or publicity. 📸

-> If you’re prone to questioning your sexuality, I’ve noticed that Solar or Lunar Returns where Sagittarius rules or aspects the 5H can indicate questioning more than usual and possibly coming to conclusions in regards to these matters.

It makes sense, seeing as Sagittarius is all about exploration and the 5H is not only about romance but also self-expression. 🌈

-> I think that in general the most important parts of a chart to look at in terms of your own artistic, luxurious or festive preferences are your Moon, Venus and Neptune placements as well as your 4H, 2H & 7H and 12H. 🎨🎄

-> On that topic, those with Venus-Neptune aspects might tend to get really immersed in the festivities they enjoy.

These are the people going all out on Christmas or Halloween decorations, preparing for Easter in January or in general being extremely committed to their favourite holidays. 🎊

-> And natives with Venus-Saturn aspects (especially sextile, trine, conjunct) may have a love of traditional festivities or traditional celebrations. 🎉

-> If you have malefics (especially Mars, Saturn, Pluto) in or making aspects to your 11H you should be very careful of what you can manifest. Even if you have the right intentions, any flukes or uncertainty can cause unfavourable results. This is a very ‘be careful what you wish for’ placement. 🧞‍♂️

-> Your 6H might tell you a bit about how you respond in emergencies. Look at the sign ruling 6H, where its rulers are and the placements in the 6H.

(I have Neptune 6H and I’m really bad for detaching and not knowing what to do in emergencies 🥲.)

-> A strong Fixed sign (♉️♌️♏️♒️) Jupiter in a chart can show that the individual might get lucky in consistent circumstances. This can therefore manifest as savant-like talent/s or having things to ‘fall back on’. 🍀

What makes the Moon placements grumpy 🌙

Aries / 1H Moon: Losing an argument, not getting their way, their emotional identity being challenged, being held back or slowed down, being told to suppress their anger or energy.

Taurus / 2H Moon: Their plans being changed suddenly, having to step out of their comfort zone, their resources being taken away, sensual discomfort, doubts about their self-worth.

Gemini / 3H Moon: Overly serious people or situations, forced silence, people overcomplicating simple things, losing social connections, their freedom being limited.

Cancer / 4H Moon: Invasion of their privacy, having to ignore their emotions, family disputes, feeling too vulnerable, attacks on their safe space/s.

Leo / 5H Moon: Being ignored, not being able to indulge their hobbies, their self-expression being suppressed, feeling bored, uptight situations or people.

Virgo / 6H Moon: People ignoring mistakes, their advice going to waste, people not taking responsibility, health issues, lack of critical thinking.

Libra / 7H Moon: Social injustice, feeling excluded, being seen as ungraceful, people not responding to their charm, wasted effort in relationships.

Scorpio / 8H Moon: Emotional vulnerability, their secrets being exposed, not being allowed to talk about taboo emotions, people not understanding their ‘depth’, being rejected.

-> I’ve noticed that Taurus Moons’ voices tend to get really weird and fluctuate when they’re emotional. 🙊

-> Just a theory but 7H-12H contacts could mean that open enemies turn into hidden enemies… like even if you supposedly ‘reconcile’ with an enemy they might still carry secret hatred deep down. 🗝️

-> Transits involving Venus and South Node could indicate starting to run into people from your past — especially those you had a close relationship with. This could also apply in progressed synastry. 🕣

-> Those born around their parent’s Saturn return (so generally when their parent was age 27-30, or 56-60 if their parent had them later in life…) can have a difficult relationship with this parent because of the heavy Saturn-on-Saturn synastry… especially if the Saturns are conjunct each other! 😬

-> The song ‘Self control’ by Laura Branigan really reminds me of Libra Mars — that resigned, submissive, airily enticing energy just seems to fit the placement perfectly. 🎧

-> Speaking of Libra Mars, it seems that these peoples’ motivation and initiative really does play off the people around them. I have this and I can’t even sleep until or after everyone else in my house is asleep usually. 💤

-> It’s been pointed out quite a lot that Gen Z tend to drink less alcohol. As most of this generation have Neptune in Aquarius I wonder if that’s because we prefer to ‘dissociate’ through more futuristic methods (like technology 🥲).

-> Look, I don’t wanna toot our own horn. But I’ve noticed Virgo placements tend to have REALLY nice hair… just as much as Leos’! 🎀

-> Those with Uranus or Mars aspecting 11H might have friendships that begin or end quickly / abruptly. ⚡️

-> Women with 4H or 5H Lilith MIGHT be a bit awkward with children… seeing as this is conventionally expected of them but 4H (rules family) or 5H (rules children) Lilith can cause struggles in these areas. They might have to take a unique approach to interacting with kids because of this. 👩‍🍼

-> Just another theory, but having a masculine sign over the 4H (Fire or Air element 🔥🌬️) could indicate growing up in a male-dominated household.

-> Whereas having a feminine sign over the 4H (Earth or Water element 🍃💦) could indicate growing up in a female-dominated household.

-> With Moon in 4H synastry, the Moon person might see the 4H person as ‘unfiltered’ — or at least might be able to tell the 4H person’s emotions very easily. 🤧

-> A well placed Moon + Mercury, especially if they aspect one another, can indicate having a very good memory. 💭

-> The house rulers that fall in your 1H could show where you need an ego boost every now and then.

So, 7H ruler in 1H? You might need the occasional ego-boost in relationships or social interactions. 9H ruler in 1H? You might need the occasional ego-boost in higher learning or beliefs. And so on. 🤩

-> Where your Mercury placement falls in your chart could show the things you would often do in your youth.

Mercury in 11H? In youth you may like hanging out with large friend groups, engaging in community or media or working towards humanitarian efforts. Mercury in 4H? In youth you may like spending time with family, exploring your emotions or deciding on your ideal home environment. Et cetera. 🧠

-> Theoretical again, but an afflicted or retrograde Saturn could indicate a delayed or complicated retirement. 🧓

-> Those with 3H/9H-11H contacts might enjoy reading or writing fan-fiction. 🧑‍💻

-> Natives with 11H (placements or ruler) aspecting their Venus, Mars or 5H/7H could have a ‘friends first’ mentality when it comes to romance. 💌

General astrology observations ~ Part nineteen

-> Those with Moon-Mars aspects might struggle with getting too emotional during arguments (e.g., struggling to hold back tears, escalating conflict, etc). 🤺

-> Venus-MC aspects might be artistically inclined in their career. 🎭

-> I’m starting to think that CARDINAL signs (♈️♋️♎️♑️) are the most organised for how proactive they are — even more than Virgos (just because we’re picky doesn’t mean we do anything about it 😭).

-> On that topic, I reckon Moon, Venus, Mars and even Saturn (Cardinal-ruled planets) are the most important planets to look at when determining someone’s organisational habits altogether. 🪐

-> Those who have tensions between the 11H-5H axis and / or the Leo-Aquarius axis in their Natal chart can struggle feeling comfortable in their place in society. ⚙️

-> Having Venus in an angular house (1H, 4H, 7H, 10H) can increase an individual’s risk of overspending money, as they link indulgence to important parts of their lives. 💝

-> People with 12H placements can be night owls, especially those who have a luminary (Sun or Moon) there. 🦉

-> Beauty asteroids (e.g., Aphrodite (1388), Adonis (2101), Bella (695), etc) at a critical degree or afflicted (especially by a malefic) could indicate struggles with conventional attractiveness and / or self-image. Also if there are contacts to the 1H/10H or ASC/MC. ☄️

-> Cancer Risings give me shy person vibes. And they often are. ♋️⬆️

-> Those who have a combo of Taurus + Leo in their chart (especially in Sun, Rising, Venus and Mars) have this magnetic air of smugness about them… literally resting-smug-face TM! 😏

-> Transit Mars in someone’s Natal 3H is underrated for how many ARGUMENTS it can start. Just because 3H is a more chilled house doesn’t mean Mars can’t shake things up in those life themes. Especially as a communication-oriented house. Watch out for tensions rising between siblings, neighbours, locals, classmates, etc. 🤬

-> Following on from this, the aftermath of this transit could actually be quite difficult because after transiting the 3H it will then transit the 4H, which will then make the individual want to retreat and sit in their anger alone rather than facing the consequences of these tensions. Yet these tensions will still find a way to creep into the individual’s personal life, whether they like it or not. 🐚

-> Scorpio or 8H Saturn might work one-to-one with someone, for example running a business between themselves and one person or a very small amount of people they hold close. 🖇️

-> With Sun conjunct Venus synastry, the Sun person might like to try and make the Venus person laugh. 🤭

-> Conversely, in Moon conjunct Venus synastry, the Moon person might want to try figure out WHY what makes the Venus person laugh makes them laugh. Or just in general the things they enjoy. 🫶

-> In general, when someone has a luminary (Sun or Moon) conjunct someone’s placements in synastry, it can show that the luminary person really wants to know what makes the other person tick. Sure, with Mercury conjunct these the Mercury person might like decoding their partner as well. But with luminaries, they don’t want to just ‘figure it out’, they want to bring it to light.

But as I’ve mentioned, this is in different ways depending on the luminary. Moon conjunctions to the other’s placements? The Moon person wants to know the emotional reason behind that part of the other’s expression and even build a safe space for the other person. Sun conjunctions to the other’s placements? The Sun person wants to know the ambitious reason behind that part of the other’s expression and even encourage these activities for the other person. 🌞🌝

-> In particular, this makes Sun conjunct Moon synastry really special. It’s like those movie cliches where one person (Moon person archetype) is struggling emotionally, so the other (Sun person archetype) takes them to an art gallery or wherever and has the Moon person spell out their emotions through art. And later on, feeling exhilarated, the Moon person gets the Sun person to open up. 🎞️

-> Aquarius placements tend to be very attuned to the way society works and social hierarchies, which can make them have a bit of cynicism under all that detachment. 👥

-> 6H Neptune 🤝 constant daydreaming.

-> Your Mercury placement is actually very important regarding your emotions. Yes, the moon rules emotions. But Mercury rules thought processes — which is of course linked to how your mind will initially process these emotions and regulate them. Especially if you have Moon-Mercury aspects in your chart. 💬
