The reason your snacks are unsatisfying is that you need both carb and protein.

I am pleased by people messaging me telling me that after adding a carb or protein to their snacks or meals they feel more satisfied all day. Yes, my plan is working. People are getting through their days with less hangry.

there's nothing quite like a random piece of media you consumed ages ago and loved at the time but kinda forgot about after coming back to you years later absolutely out of nowhere like "you thought you could forget about me? don't worry! i'm here to be the only thing you care about yet again" and then the cycle repeats
it's fun but also painful because the intensity of the obsession revived makes it hard to focus on anything else like someone get these fictional people out of my head please
My favourite thing about Radar is the emphasis the show puts on how competent he is. It makes a good joke in the more comical episodes, that he can get things done when the officers can, but it's really nice in the more serious moments. He's right in the mix when there's an emergency, making calls, directing people, checking dog tags. I love that they made him naive and youthful, but made a point of showing us that he's so capable. He's one of the most important people in camp despite his age and lack of education.

I HATE when people say to skip the first few seasons of M*A*S*H!!!!!!! NOOOOOO don't skip them!!!!!! You need to see how everyone's characters change and how the war affects them!!!! Also you can't miss out on Henry and trapper (especially Henry<3) !!!! Like yes, I understand they're more comedic rather than drama, but I personally like some laughter between the horrors. Also why wouldn't you watch them??? I don't know it just seems silly to me. Midnight autism rant over have a good day.
I wonder what reminds the 4077th of their friends when they arrive home. Does the smell of fudge or the sound of whispering remind Margaret of her nurses - or do dirty socks and soapy water remind her of BJ and Hawkeye? Does Mulcahy think about his friends whenever he sees a poker game being played? Does Charles ever look at magazines and hope to God they aren't Hawkeye's nudist issues? Does Potter ever think about Radar or Klinger when he has to sign a document? Does BJ ever walk into a bar and search everywhere for his best friend, only to remember he's back in Crabapple Cove? Does Hawkeye ever say a little too much and look for BJ to back him up, just to be confronted with the fact they'll likely never meet again?
Do they ever walk into cafeterias and feel an immediate sense of dread when it comes to grabbing their food, even when they know it tastes perfectly fine? Have they ever called holidays R&R instinctively even when they know they aren't back in Korea? Do the colours army green and blood red make their stomachs turn? Do items crashing down onto floors make them hide under tables? Do they ever forget to check the mail because they assume someone will take it straight to them?
Do they ever see helicopters or Jeeps and feel the need to run? Have they ever talked a little too much in the operating room (if they ever return to surgery) or wondered why it's so silent, because for years it was all they could do to keep their minds away from just what they were doing? Do they ever look around and just wonder where the hell everyone is?
The thing that I think is most important about Klinger as a character is that he's deeply kind. He couldn't get a section eight because he wasn't willing to commit to making himself a danger to others. His dramatic wardrobe and escape acts never impacted anybody else (other than giving Henry and Potter some extra paperwork on occasion), and he's still a first rate soldier when they need him. He's always in the thick of things carrying litters or donating blood or delivering x-rays. The example I always remember is when he pretended to think he was in Toledo. He wore civilian clothes and talked to Potter as if he were a traffic cop, but he was still doing his job correctly and efficiently. His behavior is a protest more than anything else. It's a statement that he may be acting like a soldier to save lives, but they'll never make him think like a solider; he will do his part to lessen the suffering but he cannot support the war itself.
There's an episode with a guy who actually gets a section eight, and he's so clearly contrasted with Klinger because the other guy isn't just talking to his socks, he's firing into the minefield. Klinger tells Sidney that he hates the war so much because of the death, that he can't stand being a part of all that killing. If he just wanted to go home then he could do it, but that wouldn't actually help anybody. He's a lot like Hawkeye in that way. Sticking around and making it clear how much they hate it while working every day to save lives is the best way to fight "the war against the war" as Hawkeye calls it.
On a less serious note, Klinger is also just a really nice guy. He's even friendly to Frank, who only ever has awful things to say to him. He's surrounded by hate and violence, he's constantly overworked; and yet he shows up, goes above and beyond in his duties as a corpsman and clerk, is genuinely kind to everybody he meets, then spends his free time sewing elaborate outfits and constructing getaway schemes. That's just plain incredible. He never lets his hatred for the war turn him hateful, and instead he makes an effort to brighten up the 4077th with his wackiness.
He’s an alcoholic, he’s an only child, he has C-PTSD, he’s depressed, he loves his dad, he was drafted into a war, he’s from Crabapple Cove, he does crazy things to keep everyone sane, he has black hair, he’s the best surgeon in Korea, he’s an only child but sometimes has a sister, he loves the theatre, he age regresses, he used to love reading Hemingway but now can’t understand why anyone would glorify war, he’s good with kids, he has a sense of humour, he uses it to cope, he sleeps around, he’s probably in love with his best friend (both of them), he’s actively anti-racist, anti-war, anti-military, anti-gun, he associates himself with known communists, and he protected a gay kid in the army…Hawkeye Pierce everybody.

Like the laugh track, the timeline, there are plotholes, things are repeated. Thats why it seems like a timeloop and why things dont meet up. Thats how he's seeing everything and how it all feels to him
Thats why when his friend dies we dont hear about it again. He doesn't wanna think about it ever again and it becomes just another suppressed memory

Always thinking about Klinger casually handing Hawkeye a Life Magazine with pictures of Maine and acting like it's no big deal it was just lying around while Hawkeye gushes about how wonderful it is getting to see home and immediately going to show it off to BJ.
And Hawkeye learning Klinger traded that magazine for a giant Lebanese salami. A taste from his home because he knew how much Hawkeye would love those pictures of Maine.
