DEATH IS A SWEET FRIEND OF MINE
Julia Trojan- Alternatives.
✨ Greek Loves.
COME & FIND OUT. Repost, do not reblog! Put down whatever info applies the most.
✨ Good Nomos
All nomos types are organized around duty and the impetus that humans should care for one another in a conscientious way. Nomos types are forward-thinking and responsible lovers who see our commitment to each other not just as "duties" or "obligations," but as opportunities to deepen our own moral stature and cultivate a sense of belonging as well. Nomos types understand that humanity is a social and cooperative species and that very few things of importance can be accomplished by one person setting out for themselves. Consequently, they care especially deeply about the life and values of communities, their friends and social circles, and they often see opportunities for how everyone can be made to work together within them. Nomos types are dependable and trustworthy lovers who believe that (in love as well as in life) just rewards come to those who care not just about themselves, but for their community as a whole. As for good nomos, it must be said that uniting a concern for the affairs of others with a selflessness and a genuine humility is no mean feat. All too often, individuals who pay such close attention to the affairs of others as nomos lovers do have hidden, self-serving agendas, such as prying or meddling for the sake of entertaining themselves, acting moralistically or sanctimoniously in order to feel better about themselves, or using the information they glean from their "concern" for others as gossip to elevate their standing within the community. However, good nomos lovers manage to stay clear of these pitfalls and instead take a sincere and altruistic interest in others. When other people are going through times of trouble, the good nomos lover takes no joy in their misfortune, but understands the gravity of their plight and provides a deeply rooted sense of reassurance. Good nomos lovers listen and involve themselves in the affairs of others responsibly and humbly. They espouse a level-headed practical wisdom in a non-judgmental manner - one that gives the other person a surer and more sensible perspective on their problems. In this way, good nomos lovers are the quiet enablers of our world; people who, through their own counsel and wisdom, gently empower others to learn and grow as they rise to face the challenges before them. Good nomos lovers are not exacting, but realize that they will very likely never receive the same amount of selfless attention from others as they themselves give. They live by the creed that though the needs of friends and loved ones are insatiable, those of us who have the capacity must nevertheless do our best to tend to them and to serve as dutiful guardians, diplomats, and dependable down-to-earth presences to others. Famous Greeks who have Nomos: Pericles, Xenophon. Your ideal partner is someone who has Agape.

We all relive the past And never want to leave it The world is ending And we’re pretending It’ll be just like it was

Buzz’s expression remained unaffected; any sympathy for anyone–particularly women–was clawed out of him decades ago. War is war, he wanted to say. Men die all the time. But he at least had the decency to hold his tongue out of respect for her husband, if not for her own feelings.
“I’m sorry to hear that, ma’am,” he said with the sincerity of a two cent sympathy card. “America might not need an empire, but those bastard Germans don’t deserve one. This war is the only solution to stop them and keep something like Pearl Harbor from happening again.” Buzz shrugged and if she looked carefully, she might even have caught a glimmer of a smile in his eyes. “Bloodshed is sometimes necessary to stop more bloodshed.”
B R O W S K N I T A T the lack of sincerity, anger still creeping in her heart. Nothing wrong came out of his mouth t h i s instance, but his tone painted his words in a different light. It almost appears as if he E N J O Y E D it when she mused over them, stomach turning.
❝ P E R H A P S S O , B U T it should be as little as possible. ❞ As a n g e r e d as she remains over Michael’s death, it reminds her every day of the pain the wives and mothers faced when they too received those ghastly visitors. ❝ And Pearl Harbor C A N ‘ T happened again. We're at w a r. ❞
this is life with the craziness of, the reality of, the necessity of being madly in love with you

Michael’s eyes gaze towards the back of the rehearsal room, finding a pretty, brown haired woman sulking by herself. No one else has paid much attention to her, all buzzing and chatting about the newly posted roles list.
Pulling himself away from all the hubble, he takes a seat next to her, taking a moment to adjust himself to the cold, brick wall behind them.
“Singing is a wonderful passion.” He starts, though he doesn’t know if his advice will cheer her up much. “But don’t sing just because you want to get the lead role. Sing because you just need to sing.”
A S I F T H E world conspired against her, someone sits beside her, Julia avoiding his gaze. The crowd of people keeps her seated, not wishing to f a i l any further, especially not before others. His words S M A R T against wounds freshly opened, but he was not wrong and she was not stupid.
❝ Y E S , I K N O W . ❞ The answer comes a little s t r a i n e d , unwilling but she is not quite that stubborn. Aqua eyes D A R T to him, worry swimming there. ❝ But am I e v e n up there? ❞
“let the guys who made it home know that somebody out there has got their backs. welcome home”

If he knew her husband there would be jokes already made to him for his name, but his mother raised him better when it came to women. He did always want to make her proud even if she wasn’t around. “I see where ya comin’ from but Army’s got their reasons.” It was a lame response, a typical one she’s no doubt heard but it was all he could say.”Well already seein’ ya here changes things up.”
❝ O F C O U R S E T H E Y do, but it’s annoying and probably over the top. ❞ Perspective of wife sick and t i r e d of not knowing where her husband fights for his country. Even though she H I D E S it deep in her soul, every day she worried whether it would be the day her life shattered. A blush easily forms on warm cheeks, t e r r i b l e thoughts thrown away. ❝ Not many W O M E N around here, are there, soldier? ❞

Christmas will you stay?
A R M S C R O S S E D, S H E attempts to wipe the frown from her lips, but f a i l i n g, wrinkles her nose. When she worked so very hard, it felt nearly I M P O S S I B L E to simply let go. And she had been w o n d e r f u l ! It wasn’t as if she sung horribly; she sung beautifully. The part should have been H E R S and now she would have to wait to hear if she would win a role at all... —— a starter for michael @uplandia

Bill couldn’t help but chuckle again at her reaction to the fact he hadn’t known her name the whole time he was leading her to the rec tent. A smirk still on the sergeant’s face as he recovered enough to reply. “Ah classic army secrets. Gotta love it right? Well, pleasure to meet ya, ma’am.” He gave a small nod.”I just do what the army says and listen to what news they tell me.” He shrugged. “Which ain’t always the best.” He added, thinking about Captain Sobel.
B A R E L Y A B L E TO hide her relief at the lack of a joke or a pun aimed at her last name, she finds herself e c h o i n g his shrug. ❝ They say it’s to keep our boys S A F E, but if he’s out there fighting, the enemy already knows where that is. Now, when they’re going somewhere, that I g e t. ❞ A creeping smile emerges as he summarizes his life in the camp, a soft L A U G H slipping out. ❝ Nice to meet you too. H o p e f u l l y, the Women’s Club might vary that up a bit. ❞
