Honestly, this has gotta be one of the most painful scenes in Scott Pilgrim Takes Off.

This shot specifically hurts my soul. I think the reason I like Scott Pilgrim so much is that every character is a bad person, even Scott and Ramona. Ramona is finally realizing that here as she flashes back to all of her exes, how she just left all of them in a very unhealthy way. But the shot with Roxie honestly hurts me the most. The rest of the exes have done something wrong that makes it easy to dislike them. But, at least in the anime, Roxie doesn't really seem to have done anything wrong until after the breakup. Her only mistake was becoming too attached. It's clear Roxie thought they had something special, a deep connection that would last a long time, but Ramona didn't feel that way and felt it was more a short-term fling.

Roxie's story just hits a bit too close to home. It actually, genuinely hurts.

hey guys just an annoucement bcs some ppl are just very weird about this

subcultures are predomimantly about music and the views you hold. you can still be goth/emo/scene/metalhead etc if you dress like it 100% or 10% or even 0% of the time. it mostly matters if you listen to the music.

also you can be in multiple subcultures lol you can be both goth and emo or a metalhead and a hippie or whatever combo. you don't have to exclusivly listen to one music type or dress in one style.

i feel like ppl don't treat those who dress in different styles as seriously as sb who only dresses as one and "looks the part" of their subculture 100% of the time and that really needs to stop
