welcome to el nido de avispas, florida, Â known commonly as el nido to the locals
direct translation: the wasp nest, or the nest. just outside of miami, el nido isn’t known for much. the small town vibe is undeniable, with most people within city limits knowing one another since childhood. transplants are usually occupation-related, with newcomers rolling in to work at the hospital, the police station or the school, but many find that once they settle in el nido, they’re happy to stay.
the devil’s jesters motorcycle club is synonymous with el nido, as they have been around since 1956. the locals have mixed feelings on the mc, though the general consensus would be neutral. the jesters have been around for so long that they are simply part of life in el nido. since their formation in the 1950’s, the jesters have worked hard to keep el nido safe from outside interference from el bosque blanco, an organized drug trafficking conglomerate with a strong presence in miami. the president of the jesters worked hard to maintain the peace between the mc and the traffickers, and this was largely in part due to the fact that the jesters moved their product.
in 2019, el nido was put on the map for the first time: the president and vice president of the devil’s jesters were both killed in a distribution gone bad within city limits with several other members ending up dead or incarcerated, involving several police officers and taking down the sheriff. this brought attention not only to the devil’s jesters, but to the town as a whole. the mc, deep in mourning, appointed their road captain as the new president to try to fix the mess that was made and left for them. the first order of business was to cut ties with el bosque blanco, which raised brows from many of the elder members of the club. the new president was young, inexperienced, and the mc was questioning his motives. the son of the slain vice president, the new president wanted nothing to do with the trafficking organization and wanted to move the mc as far away from the drug trade as he could. the tension in the mc was high, due to the slaughter of their two long-standing presidents, though they followed the lead of their new president despite murmurings questioning his decisions.
el bosque blanco was furious, and their promises to stay out of el nido were now null and void with the mc no longer working for them. the head of the organization quietly began to move his men into el nido, securing a nightclub location to begin moving drugs and men into the small town before buying up more locations. over the course of the past three years, el bosque blanco has moved enough men into el nido to be considered a full operation.
the devil’s jesters, unaware of el bosque blanco's presence in el nido, focused on local businesses arms dealing. the mc survived their tragedy, and seemed to be flourishing despite new leadership. however, trouble has come to town: drugs are becoming more and more prominent, when the jesters had worked so hard to keep drugs and dealers out of el nido since their formation. on top of this, bodies have been becoming uncovered by the local police department, with one single clue tying them all together: the message ‘hemos entrado en el nido de avispas,’ or ‘we have entered the wasp’s nest,’ always left behind. into the wasp's nest is a crime and small town based roleplay set in the fictional town of el nido de avispas, florida. the plot focuses on the devil's jesters motorcycle club and el bosque blanco, a drug trafficking organization with a national presence, and the tensions in each sector individually as well as their confrontations directly. explore the trafficking conglomerate slowly starting to take over el nido while the mc fights for their right to their hometown. will the mc continue to ride in el nido, or will they be forced out by the vengeful leader of el bosque blanco? click here to check us out!
