You do realize that the CPC also started out as a "fringe group" before becoming one the largest parties in the entire world, right?

It doesn't matter if the group is a fringe group with only a tiny smattering of followers. What matters is whether the ideas they generate and the causes they support are worthy of consideration.

Well-mannered Kungfu Pandas Lords pays respect by holding their hands together in a manner called the “cupped/curved hand ritual” 拱手礼 gǒng shǒu lǐ. This greeting is described in the Analects of Confucius, and some say its history goes back even further to the Western Zhou Dynasty (1000s-700s BC).

Many people in the modern day don’t seem to bother with the proper way to hold their hands in the salute, and one of the articles I read claim that even Chinese New Year illustrations are sometimes drawn “wrong”. Here are what seems to be generally accepted as “the proper way”:

The martial arts hand most likely should not be used during formal greetings or New Year’s greetings.

There are a few other variations, such as the “Dao hands” and “Wanfu rites”, but that’s beyond my knowledge for now.

DIY - scallop seashell soap tray.

I have been using these two as soap trays for a while, but they were a bit wobbly, so I glued a flat rock under the both of them to use as footing. Now, they're perfect.

In case of too many soap trays, you can also use this tray for other knickknacks.

I didn't have pineapple or grapes at home, so I skipped those. The rest is more or less the same, but my mom thought the sauce was too sour, so she added some sugar to it, which I thought was a little unnecessary but whatever. 🤷

Spaghetti, 1 tomato, 1/4 cucumber, 1 carrot, garlic sprouts, thyme, 1 slice of cheese, 4 beef meatballs. Add fish sauce, black pepper and cummin powder to taste.

Pasta Tropicana.

It's spaghetti with tomato sauce, a few thin slices of Cantonese crispy pork belly, onion, bell pepper, grapes, pineapple and mango. Add black pepper, cumin and fish sauce to taste for that extra burst of flavor!

Tip 1: If you don't have pasta at home, you can serve this dish with white rice too.

Tip 2: Vegans can swap out the pork with tofu and the fish sauce with soy sauce. Others who can't eat pork for religious or other reasons can switch it with any other type of meat of their choice.
