Sometimes people need a border or a frontier between their job, their business, and real life and friendship, but we don't have that because whether we are in Paris, touring or making music we are always together. When we are not touring, we are doing the same things anyway, we don't need Justice and real life to be separated, we are together whatever happens.
Have you ever played other instruments, and do you find a different kind of energy there, say, with an electric guitar?

Gaspard: When we’ve played real instruments, we never had the reaction we have now.
Xavier: Gaspard used to play drums and cello. I played guitar and bass, but we were not very good.
“Are the constant comparisons with Daft Punk flattering or have they become annoying?”
Xavier: ...I know it’s kind of normal for the journalistic process, when you’re introducing some new band, to give a simple comparison. But when they say it just because they’ve read it somewhere, it’s annoying because they don’t know what they’re talking about.

“The first time we read it — about four years ago, after two releases or so — we were flattered, because we like them. Afterward, it was just strange. When you ask the journalists why, which we do, they say, “Uhhhh.” They don’t really know why. Then they’ll say it’s because of the vocals, but we only have one track with vocals. We have less and less comparisons with them. Now, we just have our own identity.”
