I think it's interesting how every Firelord's chamber is a dark room that exudes power, intimidation, and dominance.

But then there's Firelord Zuko's chamber. Bright, vibrant, warm, and open. Rather than raging flames, Zuko's chamber has braziers. It's almost a visual representation of how Zuko understands that fire requires restraint.

Sometimes you got to wonder what on earth makes these people think that a throne 30 feet higher 10 times larger in a palace with far more grandiosity with the fire lord sitting way further and higher up than anyone else is radiating “warm, open” or whatever progressive changes LMAO

azula is one of my favorite characters of all time idk if ive said that before

(sukis first dialogue is a callback from the ‘suki alone’ comic, where azula says that to her before putting her in the boiling rock)

(additionally- i hated the treatment of azula in the comics. wdym they put her in a straitjacket?? shes 14 . she deserves help. soooo this is a universe where they actually Did That... but shes still locked up. coz she IS dangerous lmao) (i will be drawing more of that)
