Monster : A flashback. Azula and Zuko's mother has recently left. Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee (still children) discuss her sudden departure. There is a flashback about the first time Azula was called a monster by her mother. I wrote this in 2012, I was 16.

ROGUE : AU. Following the murder of Avatar Kyoshi, the Avatar is reborn in the Fire Nation as a girl named Roku, raised by the Fire Sages to only serve her own nation. The Fire Lord intends to use her as the key figure for his conquest. His plan is foiled when Roku runs away, prompted by visions from her past life. Meanwhile, the royal family is haunted by its dark secrets and Princess Ursa’s disappearance nine years ago.

Azula Week 2022 | Day 5: Power "You and my flames look really handsome today. I wonder why."

Azula should be the same age as she is in the OG series because it's comet day, but I kind of made her look younger? I think it would make sense in this AU since there is no war. She didn't have to grow up as fast. Didn't have to appear older so no one could belittle her. No, this isn't an excuse for being lazy and not redrawing it. Not at all.

Fun fact: The flaming chicken is supposed to called something that means "pre-dawn comet" because they met at pre-dawn and Azula thought she saw a comet falling. But I'm not familiar with Chinese naming conventions so I just stuck with a one character name "孛(bèi)" for comet. This might not be even correct lol. I'm also not sure if it even matters since I dunno if I'll revisit this AU in the future.
