Seth was standing under the awning at the store, curse his ungraceful physique. At first Seth was weirded out by being back in the past but it soon turned into a successful business opportunity. He figured that with his knowledge of rare comics, he could make a fortune by saving up on the ones that will be rare in the future. Luckily for Seth his store got a pristine copy of the brand new first comic of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but as soon as he stepped outside - he tripped and fell in the rain and dropped the comic in the puddle. “Just my luck.” Seth said while holding back tears. “That was going to be worth so much. Now I’ve got nothing.”
it was tough enough that the option of an uber was completely out of the question , natasha was forced to quicken her pace down the drenched sidewalk . maybe an umbrella was necessary but being stubborn meant running down the sidewalk in the pouring rain . huffing to herself , she almost ran into the kid that was looking rather dejected at the puddle with a floating comic book before him . “ you okay, kid ? “ hesitating before she reached down to grab the soaking book - assuming it was from the store they were in front of , she possibly had window shopped once or twice on her stroll to and from work . looking at the ruined cover of the book , “ i’ve never understood the hype about these things , they cost a lot of money . right ? i just didn’t think they were worth drowning in a puddle for . “
