Buy traditional modest clothing, including hijabs, niqabs, abayas, burqas, burkinis, etc. Experiment to find what suits you and looks good on you. Develop your own sense of style as a new Muslim woman. Learn your Arabic name and use it in your online presence. Another, more experienced Muslim sister can help you with this, or, when the time is right, your Muslim mentor can change your name once you become their property. Begin the journey of converting to Islam, praise be to Allah (swt)! In many ways, you will find this to be the most wonderful change in your personality and the foundation for everything that follows. At least for now, try to learn more about Islam, as your mentor expects you to be familiar with their glorious Muslim faith. Immerse yourself in the splendor of Islamic culture, for example: attending mosque... wearing hijab consistently in public... praying and reading the Quran daily... if possible, moving to an Islamic neighborhood in your city or, ideally, to an Islamic country. Above all, be open to whatever your mentor leads you to.

Reflection on both the hidden and obvious blessings of Allah, testifying to His kindness, favor, and the distribution of His mercy among His slaves. 7. Humility and complete submission to Allah upon recognizing the urgent need for Him. 8. Seclusion with Allah (may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) during His Divine descent [which corresponds to His perfection and glory] in the last third of the night. And reading the Quran at this time, ending with tawba (repentance) and istighfar (asking for forgiveness). 9. Sitting with kind and honest people, with those who love Allah, and benefiting from their speech. 10. Keeping away from any distractions that may prevent the heart from turning to Allah [and remembering Him].
