The last several books I've read have been so fucking good, which is amazing. Fantastic.

However, they have all also been book 1 of unfinished series with the next book not due for several months.

I just finished Burning Point and seen book 2 has a release date of October! So here's me, rattling my cage and hanging off the bars of my enclosure like a deranged spider monkey. Because what the fuck am I supposed to read now?!

Okay just in case there's people on tumblr who were too little in 2016 to actually remember it yourself, I cannot stress enough that the clown sightings were a thing. That's not a bit that people just made up like pretending that people in camo are invisible. This is a real tweet from the time:

I will never forget standing in my townhouse I was standing in front of my sliding glass doors facing my backyard, wiping down my dining room table when I looked up and seen a fucking clown (after also wondering if this was a thing people were doing) standing several feet away just staring at me. Standing completely motionless. It was scary as fuck.

Luckily, we were a household of Filipino ex-gang members so we had an "in-case-of-intruder machete" (not to be confused with 'trunk machetes'). I was sure I was going to have my final girl moment. But by the time I came back to the door with my machete, the clown was fucking gone. Truly a terrifying time.

I'm 32 now & to this day, I've never heard anyone actually own up to dressing up as a clown and scaring the shit out of people in 2016.
