Tactile Vision > When perfect focus fails.

Absolute sharpness is an illusion. By forcing a high-end macro lens to look too closely at a simple flower, I am documenting the failure of the tool itself. The chromatic aberrations, the glowing edges, and the melting focus you see here aren’t flaws. They are the physical translation of reality through struggling glass. The error becomes the art.

“Tactile Vision” is a conceptual macro photography project that deliberately subverts the optical perfection of a modern lens using extreme diopters, transforming the documentation of physical matter into an exploration of visual failure, where the resulting aberrations and disrupted focus become co-authors of a surreal, tactile new reality.

Solar Noise is a series about how the sun, acting as interference within an optical system, rewrites urban reality through flares, overexposure, and “white veils”, turning the documentation of place into the registration of a glitch in its representation.

This series tests the legal limits of portraiture. Each photograph is compliant with local privacy law. The faces are not hidden by choice — they are redacted by jurisdiction.

In German photography law, a person can be photographed without consent if they appear as an “accessory to the landscape” (Beiwerk).

This image is legally compliant. The cyclist is present, yet legally invisible. He has no face, no data, no rights to claim. He is just a shape on the horizon.
