Thought based off of current fandom I’m in:

Dead-inside feedee who’s been skinny for a while due to financial hardship meets surly feeder, who *insists* that the feedee is too small and thus starts bringing them homecooked meals

After the feedee gains some weight, the feeder realizes “oh fuck, I think they look kinda hot now with the extra weight??”

Feeder types

Just like the feedee types, this lists the types of feeders in weight gain fiction stories

Dominant: a feeder who is dominant over their feedee

Submissive: a feeder who is submissive to their feedee

Enabler: a feeder who actively encourages and supports the feedee in their weight gain journey

Passive: a feeder who doesn’t take such an active role in the feedee’s weight gain, but will participate when asked to do so

Acting innocent: a feeder who pretends they don’t know what they’re doing and denies their active role in the feedee’s weight gain— when in reality they know exactly what they’re doing.

Truly innocent: a feeder who actually doesn’t know that the feedee enjoys getting cooked for, fed, encouraged, etc.

Caretaker: a feeder who must act as their feedee’s caretaker due to their size limiting their activities or causing medical issues

Mutual gainer: a feeder who gains weight along with their feedee

Cruel: a feeder who makes demands of their feedee, is much more rough in their methods, often uses funnels to get more into the feedee’s gut, ignoring feedee’s pain, humiliating the feedee

Soft: a feeder who is more soft in their approach to weight gain— makes sure their feedee is comfortable, stopping when asked, providing gentle belly rubs, encouraging and praising, etc.

Cruel but soft: a feeder who will act cruel when asked to, but will disengage in cruelty when needed, and tends to their feedee afterward

What Kind of Weight Gain?

With this one, the explanation needs to be a bit more complicated, since unrealistic weight gain splits off into its own subcategories.

Realistic weight gain: stories where weight is gained over a realistic period of time, and things like mobility issues and clothes getting bigger get discussed

Realistic weight gain— Extra Large: stories that do all the realistic weight gain plus the effects that come with being over 600 pounds, like severe medical issues, using diapers or potty pads, sweating, etc.

Unrealistic weight gain: weight is gained at a faster rate than normal, or medical issues are not discussed

Unrealistic weight gain— Extra Large: weight gained faster than normal, and at much larger weights, few of the side effects are shown or discussed.

Unrealistic weight gain - magic: weight gain assisted with the use of magic

Unrealistic weight gain - sci-fi: weight gain assisted with technology from science fiction
