Wow I haven’t checked my tumblr in so long, and I actually decided to go on my tumblr again because lately I’ve been feeling so overwhelmed with almost everything. There’s so much I want to learn, people I want to inspire, things I want to accomplish, and thinking about it all makes me want to just crumble and fall. I went back on tumblr because this used to be my safehaven, and I would vent all my feelings on here. This makes me happy to know that someone out there has enjoyed my past content, and this is a nice welcome back message :) Thanks again so much for this, and hope your day has been swell!

This video, in short, sums up my fall quarter. I cannot count how many times I've told people how much of a blessing dance-off has been in my life. Gah my thoughts are at a standstill right now as I'm trying to figure out how to convey my feelings. Dance-off 2011 was a whirlwind, but Dance-off 2012 was.. oh man. I never had the intentions of helping out or being on staff, but what caused me to stay was the lively spirits I saw in the freshmen. "You can never cross the ocean unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore" is what P.Chu says. Courage was a great deal to me in this journey; coming from barely any hip-hop experience or leadership skills, I felt so much pressure to be a better leader, a better dancer, a better everything. I think once I saw each and every one of those freshmen push themselves out of their own comfort zone... I was inspired to do the same. It's funny how I was the one that was supposed to be teaching them, but I was continuously in awe of the new things I would take away from them in each practice. Forever humbled by this :' ) From staying up literally all night at Patrick's to help choreograph, to the Sunday night staff meetings that dragged on for forever, to attempting to heat up chicken nuggets at 6 am with a portable heater, to sleeping on the stone cold floors in the freezing cold at 4 am in the morning, to NOT sleeping at all and attempting to keep my 10 pound eyes open while counting out the routines for the freshies, to hysterically laughing at things that weren't even funny in the wee bits of the morning, to screaming out everyones' names during run-throughs, to the many staff talks that caused much stress, to looking like an idiot while running around in many layers of blankets, to stumbling back into my apartment at 8 am... I wouldn't have it any other way. KADOFF 2012 YOU HAVE MAH HEART

Hi this is my friend Katie Wong and she is an amazing make-up artist but she is a terrible person who against my will posts a picture of myself on instagram and blurs herself out making it look even MORE narcissistic and keeps my phone hostage so I won't delete it. But besides that you guys should go to her if y'all ever want your make-up done cause not only is she superb and talented in what she does, she is hilarious to be around... so if you guys don't contact her... you're missing out

I mean... if she can make me look somewhat decent... that is more than enough proof.
