Bring the house down with the Green River Thrillers, Ancient Warlocks and Hobosexual Sunday, April 20th at The Maltese from 9pm to midnight.
The Green River Thrillers crash the stage first as 3-piece noise rockers dedicated to bashing your ear drums to pieces. Ancient Warlocks then cast their powerful riffs, followed by Hobosexual.
420 party at Blaze N' J's right now!
The 3rd Annual 420 Music Festival takes place on, of all days, Sunday, April 20th.
Join the Chico Cannabis Club for this show in honor of their 12th anniversary. It's safe to say that you'll probably hear some reggae.
Cover is $15 at the door but there is no cost for musicians. This is an alcohol-free event (as in, no alcohol, not free alcohol, drunky).
Join Blaze 'N J's for their... ummm... 4th... 5th?... or something, annual 420 party. Umm... it'll be on... like, 4/20, bro. All day, bro. All day. There will be a raffle, prizes, live music, sale prices and a cacophony of flip-flop clacks, not to mention a fair share of suspicious aroma. It's free, fun and definitely not an all-ages show.
Events on April 20th, 2014.
How To Use Welcome To Chico
A quick note about how to use the Welcome To Chico network: ----- On the web: www.WelcomeToChico.com The main website features the most critical component, the Event Calendar, a form to Submit An Event, information about Chico and local businesses and a front page that highlights major upcoming events an hour before they happen about 5 times a day. The Calendar: www.WelcomeToChico.com/Calendar On Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/WelcomeToChico The main hub of our social network, this is the best way to engage us (or really anyone these days). We upload original photos, videos, upcoming event info and share others' content about Chico. On Twitter: https://twitter.com/WelcomeToChico The Twitter feed receives all the same updates that the main website does and also features retweets about Chico. Pinterest: http://www.pinterest.com/WelcomeToChico/ We share pins about Chico and our own original content to related networks. Mostly though, we use Pinterest to impress the ladies. Ladies. On YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/WelcomeToChico You will find our original videos about Chico and local performers on YouTube, where we also share others' related videos. On Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/WelcomeToChico/ Flickr is where we host almost all of our original photos. You may download them and use them for any non-commercial purpose including non-commercial derivative works. On Google+: https://plus.google.com/+WelcomeToChico Yes, we have one of these even though no one in the world cares about G+. Updates from other sites are fed straight to the G+ page. On Tumblr: http://WelcomeToChico.tumblr.com/ Goes to the same place as the "main site"; Tumblr hosts our site (for the moment). Tumblr is also a social network through which we share Chico-related content by other Tumblr users. ----- If you only use one site, I suggest bookmarking the Event Calendar. That's ultimately what we're all about. Thanks for following us!
