Achilles' development throughout the story is very interesting to explore to me because xe doesnt like anyone at first (pure teen angst) then xe befriends Nate thats xer pal but cannot seem to connect with or even like Vee

but its only when Vee starts returning the energy (being snappy as fuck) that Achilles starts to like them

Vee starts saying stuff like "Mind your own damn business" "I dont want your opinion" "I didnt ask" and Achilles is internally FUMING but at the same time xes like "okay. respect."

This is also a very tricky spot for Nate I fear... He considers both Achilles and Vee his friends but theres some painfully obvious tension at first...

I just wanna say I used to be super into this when It was an au and then I got off of Tumblr and only checked back periodically, and on this periodic check in I am so happy to see that this has become a summer camp original story !!!! I am currently working at a summer camp and it has changed my life and seeing ur silly little guys having fun at camp is so healing,,,,,I need to see more art of them grrr I miss the old traditional doodles floating around the old blog that was my favorite part :3 tl;dr I LOVE THEM YOUR HONOR

Since this is all renewed and stuff youre welcome to ask questions abt how certain stuff works now!! like character relationships nd such and also some lore considering i changed everyone's ages a little

do they catch fireflies .. if so where do they all fall on the scale of like. wants to keep em in a jar in the cabin overnight, just catches them in their hand and watches them for a while, + doesn't want to disturb them at all

i think Achilles and Dee dont wanna disturb them...

Nate would think a jar w fireflies in the cabing would look very nice but he gets comcern abt the fireflies.... what if theyre not having a good time in the jar what if it hurts them....

Vee, Florian, and Silas love catching them in their hand and watching them!!
