I know I’m about 5 years late, but I’ve just clocked onto the fermented food / poke bowl / pho / broth trend. In winter, there are few things more soothing than a warm bowl of broth -smokey, salty, nutritious, mmm. This evening I made a chargrilled onion broth, and added these beautiful champs from the farmers market. If you’ve never chargrilled a whole onion, you should.
