How to Participate
Simply create something about Lydia. Fic, art, gifsets, moodboards, fic rec lists, playlists/mix and anything else you can think of are all welcome. If you want your work reblogged, simply tag it #LydiaWeek2026 or tag @lydiamartinappreciation. If you write fic on ao3, you can add it to the Lydia Martin Week 2026 collection.
All works must be Lydia-centric and Lydia-positive. A further list of rules can be found here.
The event is running from 14th to 20th September 2026 but late submissions are accepted and you do not have to create something for every day.
Prompts
NOTE: These are just a guide. You can produce visual work for the writing prompts and you can produce written work for the visual prompts. You can use the prompts to produce something that isn't writing or visual (E.G. a playlist/mix). You can combine prompts. You can post something for Day 1's prompt on Day 5. You can create multiple works for only one prompt. You can choose not to use the prompts. All of this is just for fun.
Writing Prompts
Day 1: Lydia & Power
This could be a reflection on Lydia's own power (supernatural or otherwise), it could be about a time Lydia felt powerful or powerless, it could be about Lydia's relationship to someone in power, or it could be many other things. Honestly, the possibilities are endless
Day 2: Being a Banshee
What does it mean to be a banshee? What elements of lore could you explore? Are there any elements of banshee lore the show doesn't address but you think are interesting? Are there any other banshees Lydia interacts with and what do these relationships look like? There are so many ways to interpret this prompt (including probably some I haven't listed)
Day 3: What-If Wednesday
A classic prompt. What-If Wednesday is here for all your missing scene, fix-it and alternate universe needs.
Day 4: Lydia & Pack
The pack is the heart of the show. What does pack mean to Lydia? This could be a deep introspection of her connections or just a fluffy work about pack-bonding. As always, anything goes!
Day 5: Lydia & Passion
This could just be a very passionate fic or you could consider what Lydia's passions are. She clearly likes mathematics a lot, she has some interest in languages (or at least Latin). You could explore Lydia's hobbies in canon or come up with your own headcanons. Or you could interpret this prompt in a totally different way.
Day 6: Lydia & Pain
Banshees can't take pain but that doesn't mean they can't feel it. This could be an exploration of Lydia's own pain (mental or physical) or Lydia dealing with someone else's pain. Angst! Sickfic! Hurt/(no) comfort! Anything else you can think of!
Day 7: Free Day
Let your imagination run wild! You can do whatever you want for this prompt.
Visual Prompts
Day 1: Favourite Dynamic/Relationship
This could be romantic, platonic, familiar, antagonistic etc. And if you don't want to pick a favourite that's okay too. Any relationship you feel deserves to be explored can be used on this day, especially the underrated ones.
Day 2: Parallels
What parallels exist between Lydia and other characters on Teen Wolf? Between her and other characters from different shows or films? Between her and herself?
Day 3: What-If Wednesday
A classic prompt. What-If Wednesday is here for all your missing scene, fix-it and alternate universe needs. Maybe one of the parallels from yesterday can inspire an AU?
Day 4: Quotes / Song Lyrics
This could be quotes from the show, it could be quotes from poetry, other tv shows or movies, books, songs, or anywhere else. I'd count incorrect quote memes too. Anything goes!
Day 5: Lydia & Colour
Lots of ways to interpret this one. You could do something monochrome (I know you guys enjoyed that prompt last year). You could focus on several colours. You could choose colours from the show or your own favourites. The world is your oyster!
Day 6: Lydia & Elements
This could be fire/water/air/earth. This could be wood/fire/earth/metal/water. This could be elements of the periodic table. You could pick just one elements or use multiple. (Combine this prompt with Day 3 for a ATLA AU, anyone?)
Day 7: Free Day
Let your imagination run wild! You can do whatever you want for this prompt.
