James just gave Felix a small smile, pushing his fingers through his hair.  At one point, the fact that some of the masters would have done that might have irritated him, but James was far too used to it by now.  “Not all that used to it, no.  There are maybe handful of masters that I refer to by their first name without thinking I might get into trouble for it.”

Felix always felt a level of accomplishment when he could get a smile, no matter how small, from one of the humans.  He didn’t mean them any harm and he couldn’t help but hope the smile was a sign they were realizing that.  “Well, as you probably figured out, you are more than welcome to add me to that list.”  He told him.  “Also, now that I’ve gone and kept you from where you were going, it only seems appropriate to invite you to join me for dinner.  I’ve heard good things about the restaurants in the castle and have yet to actually visit one. Are you up to keeping a lone wolf company for a little while longer?”

“Thank you.”  Sebastian muttered when the werewolf’s voice lowered, the shifter’s fingers pressing against his temples once again.  He looked the other master over and then chuckled.  “I got a little carried away last night, yes.”

Felix gave a simple nod of his head at the man’s thanks, not wanting to speak any more than necessary if the other’s head was bothering him.  A small smile tugged at Felix’s lips when the other chuckled and looked him over.  “Only a little?”  He asked, his tone teasing as he spoke. “Can I get you anything for your head?  Asprin, maybe?”

“Oh believe me you don’t have to tell me you’re not like other masters or mistresses, it’s pretty obvious.” Angel just gave the other male a smile, wondering how on earth the other male ended up in a place like this when it didn’t seem like he fit.  He tilted his head as the other male spoke again, a slight smile on his face. “Nothing wrong with being the odd one out, really. No one should be a sheep and be just like the rest,” the slave replied softly before nodding his head at the others next words. “It’s nice to have a choice, though I’ll be honest, given my up bringing I’m always going to feel like I should please you as your a master. No matter what.”

And he didn’t feel bad about feeling that way. He enjoyed giving pleasure to masters and mistresses, and he didn’t see it as a bad thing. Especially since this was how he was raised, and while it wasn’t an idea life, it was the only life he had ever known. Angel watched though as the master blushed a little and that made the slave smile a little bit more. He let out a little laugh at the other mans words, biting on his bottom lip as he looked the other over. “I didn’t say it was necessary, sir, just pointing out that I wouldn’t mind showing you what I have to offer willingly. And I mean more then just my body, of course. But obviously if that’s not your thing, that’s not your thing.” He shrugged his shoulders and just grinned, he wasn’t all that offended that the master might not be into him. Hell, he knew he wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea.

“Yeah... I know.”  Felix confirmed, an amused chuckle leaving him as he spoke.  He wasn’t bothered by the fact he was different from the others.  "I’m perfectly fine with being the odd one out.  I’m told to have this so called... right to do as I want.  I’m doing as I want by not following the common trend.”  He knew there were probably some who disagreed with his choices, but that didn’t discourage him.  If others were allowed to use the humans for their personal enjoyment then Felix was allowed to treat them like an equal.  He didn’t even like referring to himself as a Master, but he also knew that title is what gave him the chance to make the humans’ lives better, if only for a short while.  “I understand.  I’ll just have to remind you that you have a choice with me.  I’m sure you and I can find some sort of common ground.”

The werewolf may not have any desire to use the slaves for his own enjoyment, but he also knew some of the humans were use to it and he was willing to compromise, to some extent, if necessary for their comfort or ease of mind.  “I know you didn’t, but I don’t want you to feel... obligated or like you need to offer.”  The young man had said himself that he’d feel like he needed to please Felix and, given how many other Masters were willing to use the slaves sexually, it wasn’t hard to see why the human would think to suggest the same.  “You’re attractive, love.  Don’t get me wrong, but I don’t want you to feel like you have to show yourself off to me or anything.  If you want to... offer me something... how about your company?”

Hadlee knew she had to toe the line since she wasn’t really where she was supposed to be, but the master seemed nice enough given the gentle smile he shot her. So she figured that she’d be alright and the slave gave him a bright smile back. When he gestured to the area beside him, Hadlee smiled a little wider because she liked that idea. While she normally wanted to be left alone, right now she didn’t really want to be. She had been feeling very lonely the past few days so sitting with the master would be better then sitting alone. “So long as you really don’t mind me joining you, then I’d be grateful to sit with you. I’m not really in the  mood to sit alone and I won’t be a bother.” She wanted to make sure she pointed that out, since she assumed he’d want to continue whatever he was doing in that notebook that he had. “in fact I’ll be as quiet as a mouse if you need me to be,” she gave him a big smile after saying that, before sitting down on the spot that he had pointed out.  Her eyes instantly moved toward the lack and it really was beautiful here, it was too bad that most of the beauty was tarnished by all that went down in the castle.

Felix noted that she seemed to feel a bit more at ease after their gentle exchange-- which was always a plus in the blonde’s book.  He didn’t blame the humans, but he always felt better when they realized he genuinely met them no harm.  “I don’t mind at all, love.  Feel free to make yourself comfortable.”  He told her, allowing a small chuckle to leave him as she mentioned being as quiet as a mouse if needed.  “I don’t mind carrying on a conversation with you, but don’t feel obligated to socialize with me if you want to just enjoy the fresh air and view.”  He told her as he followed her gaze toward the lake.  “The lake is by far the most beautiful place, in my opinion, that is.”

Penny laughed softly as he spoke. “How short are we talking? One hundred years or less?” She asked curiously.

"Less,”  Felix told her when she asked about him being one hundred years or less.  “I’m thirty.”

alex--grimes:

Alex had a tendency to over-thank people for doing simple things for him.  He was so grateful to them to even show a sliver of kindness.  Not all supernatural beings were as kind as people like Felix.  “Friends?” he repeated, the word feeling a little foreign on his tongue when it came to one of his superiors.  “I… I think I’d like that.”  Smile.

Felix nodded his head as the young man repeated the word.  “Friends.”  The blonde repeated, meaning it as he said it.  The werewolf didn’t view himself as better than the humans and was just as willing to befriend them as he would be another supernatural. “I’m glad,” Felix said as his smile grew when the other said he thought he’d like it.  “Come on. I’ve caught the scent of a coffee shop and I don’t know about you, but I think that’s the perfect place for us to start.”

“It’s nice to  meet you Felix.” She said with a faint smile “And well it may be a useful skill to have for some though I don’t exactly need food to live though I still enjoy it.” After all, what she really needed was blood and that, was easy and fast to find, usually. “I don’t think is very usual to find werewolves with a passion for cooking here, i think most are more interested in the slaves.”

“Well, unfortunately, I could die from starvation.  Which makes it a very useful skill to have in my case.”  Not to mention it was simply a fun way to pass the time if he ever decided to experiment and see what he could come up with.  “I think a lot of people are more interested in the humans than developing a passion.”  The blonde told her.  “It’s not just the werewolves.”

“That’s a question I’m not really sure I can answer.  If I ever do... claim somebody... I want it to be a mutual decision on both of our parts.  I don’t want to force someone to be around me simply because I supposedly... own them.”

“If I told you that I’d have to kill you.” She said teasingly. “But not liking lettuce is a fantastic start.”

Felix gave an amused chuckle at her words.  “Forget I asked then.”  He told her. “...Well. I’ve lived a good life, I suppose. Short, but good.”  The werewolf said, since he wasn’t sure if the fact he didn’t dislike lettuce, even though he wouldn’t say he liked it, would matter o not.

Alex nodded.  “Thank you,’ he replied again.  He had so many habits that he knew he needed to break.  At the same time, he wasn’t going to go out of his way to break the ones that could save him from a punishment.  The man’s words confused him a little.  Why did Felix want him to be comfortable?  It was a bit odd to him, but Alex didn’t want to say anything that might upset the other.  “Really?” he asked, tilting his head a bit.  “That… that’s good to know, Felix.”

“Of course,” Felix told him.  He didn’t find thanks necessary considering he was just bing a decent person, but he also understood how some of the humans felt obligated to thank him for simple kindness.  So he’d accept it and just let them thank him, like this young man had done, if they felt it was necessary.  He gave the human in front of him a smile, hoping to ease the other’s fear regarding him.  “Really.”  He confirmed. “I'm not looking to cause you any harm.  If anything... I’d like to be... friends.”

“Oh…so you like to cook?” She said eyeing the notebook “In all my years I still haven’t learned to do it well, but again I have always had someone to cook for me.” She shrugged, she was used to having people do things for her not the other way around. “I’m Juliet.”

“Yup.  It’s a passion.”  He told her as he closed the notebook after letting her look at it.  He gave a short nod as she spoke about not having learned to cook well because she had someone to always do it for her.  “I had someone who would have cooked for me if I wanted, but I just felt it was a skill worth learning, and then I fell in love with it.” He was actually grateful for learning, considering he wouldn’t have survived on his own otherwise.  “Felix.  It’s nice to meet you, Juliet.”

“True it was, but other masters or mistresses would have not been as kind as you for me making such an accident,” the slave replied easily. Which he knew from experience, so Angel usually tried to be on his best behavior all the time. He gave the other male an amused look at his next words and shook his head. “You’re the first master I’ve met that has ever said that, you know? Normally I’m not given a choice, I’m just told what to do. Which I don’t mind, it’s what I was born to do. But it’s nice hearing someone tell me it’s my body and I have a choice to show it or not. Kinda makes me want to show it to you now, very willingly,” his tone was teasing as he said this, but Angel would be lying if he said he didn’t mean it. Because he did.

“Well, I’m not other Masters or Mistresses.  It was an accident and I see no reason to get upset over it.”  Felix told him.  The werewolf had always been easy going and difficult to anger, but the idea of getting upset over something that was an accident never crossed the man’s mind.  The human’s next words weren’t a total surprise, but that didn’t mean Felix approved of them.  He knew other werewolves, and supernaturals in general, viewed the humans as nothing more than someone to serve and use for sex, but that didn’t mean Felix had to fully agree with it.  “I’ve kind of learned to expect I’m the odd one out, so to speak, when it comes to my kind.” Not that it bothered Felix any.  It wasn’t as though he’d spent any length of time with supernaturals, werewolves or otherwise, since he’d lost his pack.  “You’ll be told you have a choice quite a bit with me.”

As the human spoke about kind of wanting to show his body willingly, Felix felt a flush cross his features.  The werewolf couldn’t deny the young man in front of him was attractive, but he was conflicted on the idea of acting on any sort of attraction with one of the humans.  The majority of them had been taken from their homes and brought here, and others had been born to do this.  It felt inappropriate considering they were considered slaves and expected to serve him if he desired it.  “I’m sure your body is quite the sight, love, but that’s not nessary.”

hadleequinn:

Hadlee had been given permission for the most part to walk around and get some fresh air, so long as she stayed where she was told. She had been behaving really well with each mistress or master she had been with, so she was cut a little slack, which was nice.  So she had decided to go for a walk, she wanted the outside and look at the water. She really missed the water from back home and she wanted nothing more to dive on in, but she knew that she couldn’t.

She had been lost in thought, however, when she came across a master and she nearly jumped out of her skin when he spoke because she hadn’t seen him sitting there. Hadlee hoped she wouldn’t be in trouble by this master for being possibly out where she shouldn’t be, so she just gave him as warm of a smile as she could muster and shook her head. “Oh no, of course not. There is plenty of room by the lake so obviously we can share the space,” she teased lightly. Hoping upon everything that he was a cool master that wouldn’t punish her for where she was.

Felix gave the woman a gentle smile, easily able to recognize the scent of a human over that of a fellow supernatural. He hadn’t been expecting to come across one of the humans out here, but maybe they were given more freedom than he’d originally thought. “I just wanted to be sure.” He told her. He hadn’t thought he was, but there was no harm in checking to be sure. “Though you are correct. There’s more than enough room for the both of us.” He told her, gesturing to the area beside him. “Feel free to take a seat if you want.” He offered. “Unless you’d prefer to be alone and then there's a nice spot just a little ways down that you might enjoy too.”

Lilly laughed as she looked down at the lettuce in her hands. “Well that’s simple, I plan to use it as a weapon of mass destruction. Leaf by leaf I’ll use it to annihilate my enemies and take over the universe.”

Felix couldn’t help but laugh at her words. He’d never heard of someone using a vegetable to take over the universe before. “Oh no.” He said, playing along with her remark. “What does one need to do to stay off your enemy list?”

Violet was a loner, she always had been and yet she longed for the feeling of belonging once more. It had been a while since she was last around other werewolves but as she made her way down to the lake. She wasn’t paying attention to where she was going until the scent of another werewolf invaded her senses. 

“No, you’re not.” She said softly as she walked closer. “I was just going to find a nice quiet spot to relax in.”

Before arriving at the castle, it felt like ages since Felix had spent any length of time with other werewolves. He’d spent so much time moving around from place to face that he’d almost forgotten how at ease his own kind made him feel. He looked up at the unfamiliar wolf, watching as she came closer. “If you don’t mind the company, it’s pretty nice here,” Felix told her, gesturing to the surrounding area. “I’ll even promise to continue being quiet.”

“Too quiet,” she said simply, eyes wandering over the glass shards littered around her feet. “When it gets too quiet my thoughts get too loud. I don’t like when they get loud.”

Felix gave a small nod of his head. He knew thoughts could get loud and be an unpleasant situation, but he would have thought one would search for a distraction-- conversation or something-- rather than just breaking a vase out of nowhere. “If it was too quiet.. you could have simply initiated a conversation without breaking a vase?”
