July 23rd: The one about romantic sunsets and an island for three.
Airbrush against wet skin, the most comfortable, faint strain on the muscles. Niveous reflections on the lake's unperturbed surface, a lustrous shimmer. I fall on my back, eyes closed, chest facing the sun again so that she may warm me up. I ignore their mumbles and focus on the thin veil of air against myself. It's always like this with the three of us. Two are always in cahoots, plotting, giggling, colluding against the other on rotation. I am glad we're like this. Always somewhat on edge, unable to get bored of each other. Above, I can hear seagulls and pretend to be in Italy or Spain, or Croatia. One day we will all go, I think for myself, indulging in my fantasies — one day.
