I need a good, bright and colourful filter for The Sims 4 and am having a hell of a time finding any. Anyone know where to go for that?

Hey guys! It's been quite a while but now that The Sims 4 is out, I thought I'd make a post updating you all on what's happening.

Anyway, I will be posting The Sims 4 content on this blog, not exclusively forever, but exclusively until I get bored of playing it 24/7 at least. I absolutely LOVE the game, I think it's the best Sims game to ever exist despite the glaring omissions that I am still upset about (yes, no toddlers is still bullshit, I agree), but I'm still having lots of fun playing and I've barely slept all week because I've been playing the game all day and night.

If you're one of those elitist snobs who hate TS3 and TS4 because TS2 is "oh so obviously precious and perfect and nothing will ever make it not be oh so obviously precious and perfect," well too bad for you, I guess. It's my blog, not yours, and I'll post whatever the hell I want on it. You can unfollow me if you hate seeing The Sims 4 so much. I strongly dislike people like you anyway so I won't miss you!

For everyone else, I'm looking forward to sharing my Sims 4 content with you.

Sorry for the absence

Hey everyone sorry I've been AWOL for a few days, the Internet at my parents' house is beyond awful and most days, I can't even load tumblr at all but I haven't forgotten about this place or you guys or my projects, I promise. I'm still working on all the things I said I was working on, it's just bad Internet issues that are keeping me from posting updates about them that's all.

Therearecookieshere has an editing tutorial. Other Simmers have actions too but they're rather bright.

Oh I love bright! I live for bold, bright, intensely colourful screenshots, they make me drool. <3 I'll need a darker mode of editing for my Desiderata Valley story though because the bright colours wouldn't suit the seriousness of the story so I'll look at a few different options, thanks. :)

Just wanted to let everyone know I'm not ignoring the replies I've been getting on my posts. I'm just really hot and lethargic and I don't deal with the heat well so I'm not feeling good enough to really do much but I am reading and enjoying all your feedback very much and I'll do a reply post tomorrow. :)

While Juniper and Seamus are getting it on in the faerie house, Flint plays with the rocking horse while Buttercup tries to set a trap on the toilet for her brother.

Unfortunately, Juniper caught her and now Buttercup's grounded. I have a feeling Buttercup's going to be a handful.

Juniper notices that for the first time ever, they all look like a real family all together like that and she's so thrilled, she invites Seamus into her faerie house to show him just how much she appreciates him being there. ;)

(Seamus seems to have gotten back together with his wife. I checked and he was single, then a few days later, Shawna was his girlfriend though he still seemed to be upset over the initial divorce)

Flint looks really excited to grow up.

Buttercup grows up to gain the rebellious trait and Seamus tries to bond with her.

Seamus: Buttercup! Do you remember me? I'm your dad!

Buttercup: Uhhh... not really? That's nice, I guess.

And its birthday time again! Seamus even showed up to celebrate, despite him getting old. :(

You might think building a huge greenhouse for Juniper would be a misuse of Seamus' child support which is supposed to go towards the kids but wrong! Faeries are happiest surrounded by greenery but they still need warmth so Juniper, Flint and Buttercup live in their faerie house in the centre of the greenhouse now!

The cabin is mostly for the kids to play and do their homework. It has bunk beds in case friends from school want to sleep over.

The twins' birthday came around again and Juniper had been saving up Seamus' child support cheques to truly give her kids a comfortable home!

As a way to try to fix Seamus' family for him, Juniper went over to his house and spoke with Seamus' daughter, Morida, expressing sympathy for her mother, Shawna, in this situation.

(No seriously, Sims can actually select "Express Sympathy for [Sim Name]" to the family members of whoever their partner cheated on, never knew you could do that!)

Flint seems completely immune to the cold. He plays happily in snow up to his chest for hours.

Seamus' ex-wife showed up on Juniper's lot in the middle of the night and just stared at the faerie house where she and her children were sleeping.

Juniper comforted Seamus when he came over, feeling horrible that their actions destroyed someone's family but also feeling torn. She cared about Seamus and didn't want to stop seeing him or have him be absent in their twins' lives, either.
