a/n: I've been wanting to write about Kevin himself, so... here's what popped up in my head.
The atmosphere at the concert was electric, the stage lights flickering and the crowd's energy almost tangible as the sound of drums and guitars filled the air.
Kevin stood at the front of the stage, his fingers gripping the microphone as he surveyed the sea of fans who had gathered to see him and his band, Modern West, perform.
The crowd was buzzing, knowing the concert was going to be memorable, but what they didn’t know was that tonight, Kevin had something else to announce.
For months now, rumors had been swirling about Kevin’s personal life. Ever since his divorce from Christine, fans and the media had been desperate to know who the famous actor and musician had been seeing.
He’d kept his private life under wraps, not letting the press or his fans in on the secret. But now, standing in front of thousands of eager fans, Kevin felt it was the right time.
The music was a backdrop to the quiet anticipation that hung in the air. The band finished their song, and Kevin took a moment to speak into the mic, his voice deep and steady.
"Alright, alright, I know you’re all curious," Kevin began, his grin broadening as the crowd let out an excited cheer. "There’s been a lot of speculation about who I’ve been spending my time with, especially after… well, everything that happened last year. But tonight," he paused, his eyes scanning the crowd, "I think it’s time you all finally met her."
At that, the crowd’s curiosity peaked, and the room seemed to hold its breath.
Kevin turned his head slightly to the side, a subtle nod to someone offstage. Before you knew it, you were being gently guided onto the stage by one of the crew members.
You felt a wave of nervousness rush through you as you stood at the edge of the stage, looking out at the thousands of eyes now on you.
"Everyone," Kevin called out, his voice reverberating through the mic. "This is the beautiful woman who’s been keeping me company through it all. My girlfriend…"
The crowd erupted into applause and cheers, but all you could do was feel your face turn crimson. You had never imagined being put on the spot like this, let alone in front of so many people. You could hear the excitement in the air, but it only made your anxiety rise.
Kevin, ever the charmer, stepped closer to you, grinning from ear to ear. He took your hand gently, his thumb brushing over your skin in a comforting gesture. "Don’t be shy," he whispered softly to you, his voice full of warmth.
You couldn’t help but hide your face against his chest, the realization of the moment sinking in. His scent surrounded you, grounding you, but the overwhelming weight of the attention was still there. Your heart pounded in your chest as you tried to remain calm, but your cheeks burned with embarrassment.
Kevin chuckled softly, leaning down so he could speak to you, his voice low but loud enough for the audience to hear. "See," he said with a wink, "She’s just as shy as I am about all this." His grin never faltered, and the crowd seemed to adore how genuine and sweet he was with you.
You could feel the warmth of his embrace as he pulled you closer, giving the fans a glimpse of the bond you two shared. His hand rested on your back, the soft strumming of the guitar still echoing in the background.
"You know," Kevin continued, looking out at the crowd, "I’ve been keeping this relationship private for a while. But tonight, I want you all to know… this woman right here is someone I care deeply about."
His hand cupped your cheek gently, lifting your face so you could meet his gaze. You saw nothing but sincerity in his eyes, and despite your nerves, you could feel the love and support he had for you.
The crowd responded with cheers of approval, and you felt a little less embarrassed by their reaction. They were happy for you both, genuinely excited to see Kevin sharing his heart.
With a final squeeze of your hand, Kevin spoke once more, his voice full of affection. "I think you’ve all been wondering who could be lucky enough to catch my eye, and well," he grinned widely, "now you know."
The audience went wild with applause, and Kevin gave you a playful nudge, still grinning. You couldn’t help but smile shyly up at him, the overwhelming feeling of love and pride making your heart swell.
You had always known Kevin was an incredible man, but hearing him speak about you with such care, in front of so many people, made your heart stammer.
Kevin’s grin softened, and he leaned in to press a gentle kiss to your forehead, making you blush even more. The crowd continued to cheer, and Kevin turned to them, raising a hand to calm them down.
"Alright, alright," he said, chuckling. "That’s enough about me. Let’s get back to the music, huh?"
As the band started up again, you and Kevin stayed close, the world outside of the stage fading into the background as you let yourself bask in the warmth of his presence. The night had turned into something special, a moment neither of you would ever forget.
And for the first time in a long while, you didn’t mind the attention. Because with Kevin by your side, it didn’t matter how many people were watching—you knew you were exactly where you were meant to be.
