I’m not mad or sad but just thinking.

I used to have friends who I thought would be friends for life. But shit happens right? Makes me think. If you don’t have friends who never check up on you and YOU have to go to them to vent, don’t you think that’s shitty as fuck? I had a tweet lies up to tweet about this but now I’m just ranting on hers instead of saving it in my drafts.

I used to have to friends who would never check up on me unless I went to them or saw me ranting shit on social media. Sure I get people are busy but if they don’t have time to genuinely check up on you or even take the time out of their day to even catch up and see how you’ve been since you’ve last talked about deep and personal stuff, are they really your friends? But it’s ironic. You don’t do the same either and assume people are fine but then you try to reach out and those same friends don’t want to share anything or let you know what’s going on, so why bother? Makes me think about past friendships with people. It sucks that those friends who I personally thought would be my friends forever, just fell apart. And I’m completely fine with that shit. They can fuck off for all I care lmao. Cause if shit gets tough and your ego is so damn high you won’t even try to confront or act like an adult and for once ask us what’s wrong instead of making me having to initiate it first, then I don’t need friends like that. Sucks those people couldn’t grow up and and be mature about it.
