NEW GIG: Presenter, Studio 1, Vision Australia Radio

I’m very excited that I am now allowed to tell you that I’ve just got the best, biggest and most important job I’ve ever had.

From February I’ll be presenting a brand new national radio show which will be broadcast on Vision Australia’s network of ten radio stations across Australia.

“Studio 1″ will look at life in Australia from a blind and low vision perspective.

It’s my job to get the voices of as many visually impaired people on the radio as possible - not as victims, but as fully-rounded human beings with expertises, opinions, emotions, unique stories and, dare we say it, senses of humour!

The first show is called “Fire!” and will look at how the bushfire crisis is affecting people with a visual impairment and their loved ones.
